The room was spinning, pulsing and swaying as Jimin and Hoseok tried to reach the other side. Taehyung and Yoongi had left the two of them alone to fend for themselves in this mess. The music was too loud, the house to hot and the smell too strong. Hoseok hadn't been drinking but Jimin did, he drank a lot. The younger drank in hopes that it would calm him down. It did seem to work but now he clung to Hoseok as though his life depended on it. During the first hour of the party Hoseok was constantly trying to guide Jimin and himself to less busy, quiet places. But after a while Jimin was dragging him places.
They finally ended up dancing. Jimin had a red cup in hand and moved along with the music, but Hoseok got pushed around as he tried to take care of his friend. The older had only ever been to one other party but that was nothing like this. There were too many people here and not enough space. After a while Hoseok gave up trying to get Jimin out of the crowd. Instead he told the younger he was going outside and left.
Hoseok pushed through the crowd into the backyard. He thought there would be less people there but boy was he wrong, in fact there seemed to be even more people outside. Even though it was still winter time people were everywhere, someone even started a fire in the fire pit. Hobi shuffles through the crowd trying to avoid as many people as possible. As he walked he recognized a few faces. Jackson, Mark and Namjoon sat around the fire occasionally throwing more wood in. They didn't really seem to be talking about anything. They were more or less just watching the wood burn. As Hobi walked further into the crowd he noticed two people making out, to his surprise it was Suran and Jin. Hobi hadn't seen either of them in a while, they went to a different high school. They looked different, Jin seemed a lot more attractive. And Suran looked like a completely new person, she wore a short dress and had long blonde hair. It was strange to see the two together. After realizing he had been staring at the two for an odd amount of time he continued walking.
As he made it to the back of the yard the crowd started thinning and finally there was room to breathe. Hoseok leaned against the fence observing the whole party, it was chaos. Everyone was moving, laughing and talking all at once. They seemed to be having fun and making memories. Well, not exactly memories seeing as most would probably forget tonight's events by tomorrow morning. As his eyes raked over the crowd of drunken teenagers his eyes could pick out Taehyung. The younger boy had climbed into a tree and slowly others started joining him. It was ridiculous but so was everyone else here. Wanting to get as far away from that whole situation as possible Hoseok moved closer to the shed he stood beside.
Now he wished he didn't. When he moved he could hear noises coming from inside the shed, it was obviously something he wasn't supposed to be hearing. He was about to move away when he heard a name. There was a girl and she said Yoongi's name. Taken aback Hoseok stood there in shock. Wasn't he gay? Hoseok thought to himself. That question was fully answered by the next events.
"What the fuck stop!" Yoongi shouted to the girl, the younger knew he should've left but he didn't. He continued listening as the two spoke.
"I thought you wanted me?" Hoseok heard a girl say in a small voice. The hurt was apparent in her voice. After a few moments of silence Hoseok heard the door open and Yoongi ran out into the crowd. Hobi looked into the shed, seeing Irene sitting there in silence. He felt bad but he needed to watch over the older because he wouldn't take care of himself.
Hoseok followed Yoongi back into the house. The older went directly to the kitchen getting himself a drink. Most of the people mixed themselves things but Yoongi just drank the alcohol straight. He filled a red cup full of vodka to the brim and pretty much chugged that down before moving back into the living room. Most people were in the living room, dancing and just moving in general. Hoseok followed the older into the centre of the room before completely losing him in the crowd. It took him a good 45 minutes to finally find the older. And when he did he ran up the stairs visibly upset. Hoseok quickly ran after the older only to find him sitting alone in the bathroom. The older was in the tub and had tear stains on his cheeks. He had left the door open but when Hobi walked in he closed and locked the door.
