Rehearsal was by far Hoseok's favourite part of the day. He got to perform and was surrounded by people he didn't hate. Taehyung and Jimin always waited for Hobi at his locker at the end of the school day. Then they would all walk down to the theatre together. Taehyung would talk about his day and fill the other two in on the gossip. Hoseok and Jimin would just nod and listen to Taehyung as he explained ridiculously exaggerated stories. When they reached the theatre everyone waited in the seats of the auditorium for Mr.Kim to show up. The teacher was often late but no one complained, it just gave them more time to talk. Today however Mr.Kim was running almost an hour late. The theatre kids were starting to get worried over the directors whereabouts until he showed up accompanied by his newly appointed assistant director. The assistant director was none other than Min Yoongi.

The older boy awkwardly followed behind the director holding a clip board and pencil. The two sat in the corner of the stage beside Mr.Kim's little piano. When the two finally settled Yoongi behind the piano, the director beside him, Mr.Kim signalled for all the students to gather at the piano. Hoseok, Jimin and Taehyung remained near the back of the crowd.

"Sorry for being so late but it appears as though I have been gifted with an assistant. His name is Yoongi, I trust you'll all treat him with the same respect as you treat me. If you ever have questions or concerns about something happening you can contact Yoongi and he will be able to help you. Anyways we've wasted enough time let's get going." Mr. Kim introduced Yoongi while he just awkwardly sat behind the piano. Hoseok couldn't help but smile at the boys cuteness, it had been a while since Hobi saw Yoongi act shy. Jimin couldn't help but notice Hobi staring at the older, Jimin gave his friend a teasing nudge before vocal warm ups started.

Usually Mr. Kim was the one to play the piano, but this time Yoongi played. He calmly plunked at notes while the ensemble of students made odd sounds to warm up their vocal chords. The director circled around the room ensuring everyone was using proper vocal technique. As Yoongi played different notes his eyes started to dart around the large room. He looked around at the lights and speakers, admiring their quality. Quickly getting bored with the equipment Yoongi's eyes darted through the crowd of theatre kids. Yoongi watched as they sang, but as his eyes continued he realized he was looking for someone in particular. When Yoongi's eyes finally landed on Hoseok they both made eye contact and couldn't help but smile.

Rehearsals where almost always the same, the students show up, then the director, they do a warm up then try and work through a few scenes. Sometimes progress was made, other times it wasn't. Mr. Kim often changed his mind about things, sometimes scenes that were practiced for weeks were completely changed. Sometimes songs where cut and remastered. Other times he would create more characters. Mr. Kim's ways of directing was odd but the end product was always amazing. Rehearsals took place everyday after school for about an hour or two. The length of the rehearsal really depended on what they were doing. Vocal rehearsals were typically shorter, where as dance rehearsals took quite a while.

Most days the whole cast was called, but sometimes the main characters would just be called. Luckily for Hoseok, his two best friends were also casted in major roles. Hoseok had been casted as the scare crow, Taehyung as the tin man and Jimin as the cowardly lion. All of the actors seemed to get along and drama was kept to a minimum when off stage. There were only two people who were forced to go to every rehearsal, Yoongi and Mr. Kim. Without those two the musical wouldn't happen.

It was currently the last day before Christmas break and Hoseok had a solo rehearsal with the actor playing Dorothy. Today was supposed to be the day they figure out his big dance number but no one else decided to show up. When school got out Hoseok walked to the theatre alone and waited in the theatre alone for over an hour. Just as he was about to leave Yoongi came running in, in a mad panic. His sheet music was flying everywhere his hair disheveled and backpack falling off his shoulder.
