Hoseoks day started out fine but slowly descended into something horrible. It was the summer before grade 11 and Hoseok decided to take a course in summer school because he didn't have anything better to do. The course itself wasn't very difficult it was a math class, but the exam left a lot to be desired. That particular day Hoseok had woken up late for his class and ran to school, only to arrive a half hour late. When he began writing his thoughts were completely messed up, he couldn't think of anything. Most of the answers were guesses, if he failed the exam he would still pass the class but Hoseok wanted to maintain a certain average. By the time he got to the last page Hoseok had given up. He handed in the exam last and walked out the door grabbing his bag and phone at the front of the class. This math class was the last grade 11 class he needed to pass in order to graduate a year early. During his first year of high school, Hoseok decided to do night school. This allowed him to complete almost every grade 10 class that year.

Hoseok was a good student, he listened, got good grades, hell he was even set up to graduate a year early if he wanted to. But the people he hung around were a little less then perfect. Most of Hoseok's friends either were stoners or just sucked at school. Most of the friends he made at school were in theatre. He danced in the musical last year and managed to meet some new people. They were cool but they were just school friends, he didn't see them anywhere else. Hoseok walked down the empty hallway of the school to get to the back exit. It was closer to the corner store where he was meeting Taehyung and Jimin.

Taehyung and Jimin were his only actual friends and Hobi was okay with that. He didn't need lots of friends he only needed good friends. Hoseok sent Tae a message that he was on his way. When he reached the door he pushed it open only to be met with Derek. He was friends with Brice in middle school and seemed to have the same charm.

"Who were you texting? Your boyfriend?" Derek teased while trying get the cellphone out of Hoseok's hands. Hobi was used to the insults they didn't even faze him anymore. Ever since high school started most people just stopped antagonizing him, only the most childish and small minded remained. Hoseok tried his best to keep his phone out of the older's grasp but it didn't work, he eventually got it.

"Awww you even have a pretty little phone case. Seriously how gay can you get?" Derek mocked. The phone case was special, Jiwoo did it for a design project at university. Hoseok missed her.

Hoseok only watched as Derek pulled the case off the phone, throwing it on the ground and stepping on it. Hoseok was about to yell but then remembered that he still had the phone. Hopefully he wouldn't destroy that too. Derek just examined the device before throwing it at Hoseok, luckily he caught it.

"Don't think you can avoid me just because it's summer. I'm here to make you fucking miserable." Derek said before walking away from Hoseok. As soon as the older was around the corner Hoseok picked up the case that had been broken. He then ran towards the path that lead to the corner store. Not bothering to look back.

When he reached the store Hoseok quickly spotted his two friends. They were waiting with their bikes beside the entrance. Taehyung was drinking a giant slushy and Jimin sat beside him with a popsicle in hand.

"Hobi! You should get one of these they're great! And you can even refill them if you buy a certain cup." Taehyung said excitedly obviously on his third or fourth and high on sugar. Hoseok just giggled before walking into the shop and getting his usual ice coffee with gummies. It was an odd combination but for some reason Hoseok enjoyed it. When he walked out of the store he was bombarded with questions about the exam.

"It sucked, anyways let's adventure somewhere." Hoseok said answering all their questions without going into detail. This was the daily routine, go to school, meet Jimin and Tae, adventure for a while until Hoseok wanted supper. It was a great routine and they all enjoyed it.
