Hoseok ran down the darkened field of the park towards the play equipment. Crickets and other insects were heard along with cars zooming past in the distance. As Hobi approached the park he listened closely for any sign of his crying friend. The boy circled the park before hearing his friends sobs. As Hoseok approached a bench, sniffling was heard followed but a quiet call of his name. The older quickly rushed over to the benches looking for his friend, only to discover he had managed to wiggle underneath one of them.

"Come here Minie." Hoseok said quietly after seeing just how upset Jimin was. In their years of friendship Hobi had seen the younger upset, but never to this extent. At Hoseok's words Jimin came out from underneath the bench and went into the older's arms. Hoseok couldn't help but notice the boy's old teddy held tightly in his left arm. The younger only brought it out when he was really upset. The last time Hobi's seen it was the first day of high school. The two slowly inched towards the bench until eventually the were sat on it together. Jimin let out loud sobs and clung to the older boy, dousing his t-shirt in tears. Eventually the sobs died down and Jimin could finally speak.

"Hobi... I-I fucked U-Up." Jimin said in between sobs. As the younger spoke Hoseok could smell alcohol on his breath. He was probably at a party. Which meant he was probably with Tae.

"It's okay Jiminie just breath... you need to calm down before speaking or you'll hyperventilate." Hobi reassured the younger. Jimin clung tightly onto the older, trying hard to regulate his breathing. He soon got frustrated that he couldn't calm down which made him even worse. Soon enough loud sobs where heard again, Hoseok couldn't really do anything he just sat with his friend, watching as the sun went down. Occasionally brushing Jimin's hair or wiping away his tears. By the time the stars came out Jimin's sobs had turned into soft whimpers and shallow breathing.

"Hey Minie, What happened?" Hoseok asked cautiously. The younger slowly detached himself, wiping the tears from his cheeks and hugging onto his teddy bear. He left a little bit more distance between the two of them now. Before speaking Jimin cleared his throat and sat up a little taller than before.

"Well Tae came over and asked if I wanted to go to a party with him, so being the idiot I am I said yes." Jimin said, taking lots of pauses trying to stay cool and find the right words. Hoseok just nodded as Jimin continuing the nights events.

"So before the party Tae invited me over and we did a few shots before going over. He was just a little tipsy but I was drunk and not quite... there." Jimin continued. There was a long pause. Hobi could tell that he was thinking about how to explain the events. The older decided to rest a supportive hand on his knee.

"So afterwards while we were walking he asked why I didn't try and hook up with people all the time. And I didn't answer, so as we kept walking he kept talking about this one girl in our English class. Then he was planning on using me as a wingman to hook up with her." Jimin took another deep breath leaning slightly closer to Hoseok, his breath getting a little bit shakier.

"As we were getting to the party he asked me again why I didn't try and hook up with any girls. And being the drunk idiot I was I grabbed him and... kissed him... right in-front of a bunch of people from the party. After we broke apart Taehyung had such a-a disgusted look on his-s face." Tears began to fall again, Jimin started to curl himself back into the older.

"Hobi... I'm scared. So many people saw... and he looked so... grossed out." Jimin began sobbing again, clinging onto Hoseok once again.

"Jiminie... what happened after?" Hoseok asked, stroking the crying boy's hair soothingly.

"I ran away, and cam-me here. Tae called out my name, b-but I didn't look back. I just, I couldn't." Jimin cried. Hoseok hugged the boy tighter, brushing his hair, even going as far as to kiss the top of his head. They just remained like that for a while, until Jimin began shivering from the cold.

"Minie, we should go in, you're shivering." Hobi murmured to the younger.

"Can I stay with you, I don't wanna be alone." Jimin asked popping his head up. His eyes were red and puffy, he looked sad. Hoseok nodded his head yes and began to stand helping the younger to his feet. Hoseok and Jimin slowly walked down the field, hands linked, Jimin still clutching onto his teddy bear. When they made it to Hoseok's doorstep, Jimin took a second to make himself look less disheveled.

When they walked into the house, Hobi just announced that Jimin was staying over and no one batted an eye. Hoseok guided Jimin up the stairs to his bedroom. The two boys went into the bed, going under the covers for warmth. Jimin curled into himself pressing his back into Hobi's side, crying and muttering the same thing over and over again.

I fucked up, I fucked up, I fucked up

This continued until he fell asleep. After seeing the younger finally at peace, Hoseok closed his eyes to sleep. Just as he started nodding off his phone vibrated. Hoseok reaches over seeing who had texted him.

TaeTae: hey hobi, can I ask you something?

Hobi: sure

TaeTae: does Jimin like me?

Hobi: yes

TaeTae: fuck
TaeTae: I screwed up

Hobi: please explain that to him

TaeTae: how do you know?

Hobi: he was crying in my arms 20 minutes ago.

TaeTae: I'm such a horrible person.
TaeTae: do you think he'll let me explain?

Hobi: please try, he needs an explanation

Taehyung put away his phone, finally realizing the gravity of the situation. He rolled over in his unmade bed, still in the clothes that reeked of booze and sweat. He let out an exasperated and loud fuck before closing his eyes. Unable to go to sleep.
