"I can't believe you guys are graduating in a week... like, we're all still kids but you're already gonna be moving away and everything." Jimin said after their traumatic week. They were sitting in the back of a McDonald's eating lunch, debating whether or not they'd bother going back to school.
"I know, it almost doesn't feel real. Like I've been preparing my whole life for this and all of a sudden it's happening." Hoseok replied. He was still unaware of the good news Yoongi had, the oldest hadn't told anyone yet. He could tell that Hobi was still a little shaken up by the fact that Yoongi wasn't going to school with him. He should just tell them all now.
"Well I'm looking forward to going away, it's my dream after all." Namjoon said proudly.
"I'm happy too... but at the same time a little sad." Hoseok responded a sad look on his face, still unaware of the internship his boyfriend managed to score. As Hobi spoke he held tightly onto Yoongi's hand. This didn't go unnoticed. After the sentence left Hobi's mouth, Yoongi decided to share his exciting news.
"You shouldn't be sad Hoseok, I figured something out." Yoongi started, peaking everyone's interest.
"Last week, when Mr. Kim took me aside he asked me to apply for an internship and I actually got accepted." At the news everyone's jaws dropped in surprise.
"You're gonna be working in some office building... like suit and tie and professionalism." Taehyung laughed out loud at the thought. Yoongi couldn't help but be a little hurt by the comment.
"Not exactly, the job is with a record label. It's a full time internship with a producer and I'll be getting minimum wage at the same time." Yoongi finished explaining. Hoseok jumped up and hugged his boyfriend, congratulating him on the job. There was still a pang of sadness in his tone however because Yoongi still hadn't shared the best part.
"There's one more thing... the company's in Strong Castle." After the words left his mouth Yoongi felt a pair of lips press against his. Hoseok kissed him deeply before whispering words of excitement. As the couple celebrated the rest of their friends gave them some privacy, going to the car and waiting for them to finish up.
"I'm so proud of you Yoongi!" Hoseok said, tears of relief in his eyes.
"We're going to be living out our dreams... together." Yoongi noted.
"I'm so excited... oh my god... we need to get an apartment and stuff together now." Hoseok continued his brain considering everything.
"For now let's celebrate!" Yoongi suggested. Hoseok just nodded his head violently before giving Yoongi one last kiss. This earned them some odd looks and some nasty under the breath comments but that didn't matter now. They were happy and excited to see what the future would throw at them because as long as their together they can handle almost anything.
.......
Jimin and Taehyung were walking along the sidewalk just outside of the school. Their only other friends were currently in a practice ceremony for their graduation. It had been quite a while since the two actually spent time alone together. In group situations, they had stopped being awkward with each other, but when they were alone things were slightly different.
Jimin was trying really hard to get over his crush and so far it was working, but there was always that little part of him that wanted a little more with Taehyung. He had worked hard to get over it and he mostly had, however there was a little threat still hanging on, hoping that Tae might change his mind.
"Jimin? You good, you look... spaced out." Taehyung asked as they stopped at the cross walk. They were going to a little restaurant down the street until the others were finished.
