i told the lady as i sat down on my bed,
a sigh leaving my lips.
" he's amazing " i finished off, the smile on
my lips one that would remain for the rest of the night.
annie grinned, rubbing my back soothingly with her hand.
" i'm just glad that you're happy, molly. you deserve so much " she told me, making my heart swarm.
without even thinking, i wrapped my arms around my maid's body. she wasn't a maid, to me. she was the mother i'd never had, and i loved her with all of my heart.
