12. Beach house

Sorry for that, it still hurts, but because they are having a CB, I'm trying my best to listen to their music again...

She couldn't believe she was talked into this.

Few weeks ago, she would send everyone who would even just seemed like they want to suggest it, to hell. But here she is. Sitting on the back seat of the car, which was driven by Baekhyun. Bora was sitting in the front, being the navigator for him.

Jihye was holding the door handle as it could save her, in the case Baekhyun kills them all. He was not the best driver, let's put it this way. Jihye wanted to save her friend from sitting on the seat of death, but Bora was more than eager to claim that spot hers, just because she will be able to spend few hours ogling Baekhyun safely, as he was way too preoccupied with driving.

Jihye tried to divert her thoughts from all scenarios of them dying in horrible way, with looking out of the window at the passing landscape. It wasn't passing too fast, as Baekhyun made sure to go as much under the limited speed as possible.

She would choose to go by Baek's car under any circumstances, even though, there was another vehicle available. Bora didn't want to go with that one, simply because she did all she could to avoid her brother, Jihye didn't want to be driven in the other car, because she was avoiding her brother's best friend. How poetic.

And where were they all heading to?

To Oh's beach residence. It was Sehun's idea, though he specifically said, if they can leave the boring girl at home. That was declined with one glare from my side, right after he talked me into, going. To be honest, going to Oh's beach house was something like a ritual, whenever there were holidays. And right now, they had two weeks off school, due to spring half term.

The thing was, Jihye avoided these trips as much as she could. It's been years since she last time went for this kind of outing. She was finishing her middle school the last time she went there. She remembered it well, because it was the last time Sehun and her ever went here with their parents at the same time. Back then Kim's went along with their son. Bora didn't go with them at that time.

She just never wished to go along with everyone. As her sleeping habits had gotten worse, she became insecure to sleep in the house full of people and it didn't matter she knew them all. Sometimes someone she was not every familiar with went as well. It sounded silly in her head as well, but she doesn't want anyone to find out, she can't sleep normally.

Bora was aware of her problem, also Sehun as her brother, but no one else knew and she wanted to keep it this way.

One of the reason she was dreading this trip. Why did she let Sehun persuade her? She was not even sure herself. Maybe she was fed up, staying at home alone. Or maybe because Junmyeon is going to be there, as always and since their walk on ice few weeks ago, she was barely holding it together. That guy opened some hidden door inside of her and all she could think of was that moment they almost...

Funny thig was, they've never talked since that time they both almost lost the control, although nothing happened. It would, she was sure about it and just the thought of it made her cheeks flash, her breath shortening. She was scared of what Jun made her feel, she was always proud of the fact, she could hold herself together and focus. As soon as Junmyeon's eyes found her, she was lost. She feared how much power he has over her. She would never even have dared to think of making the step towards him to kiss him, because that was exactly what her hazed mind, which had no control over her actions, was prompting her to do.
