17.| Lost

"Zhen Yuejia~ wake upppp nowww~" I slowly opened my eyes to see Jiang sitting beside me. "Hm. Good! Your up! Get ready! We have 10 minutes before we have to do a scavenger hunt." She says, patting my head like a puppy.

I rolled my eyes at her while trying to adjust to the lighting from the sun.

"Yuejia. Why are you so tired?" Yorong asked, along while stripping down and wearing her outdoor gear. Yeah. If you thought that was weird and disturbing, don't. The 4 of us have been friends since primary school, to add on that, we all went to all-girl school until now. So yeah. You could say, we are very close, closer as sisters.

"You know me. I have trouble sleeping in new places..." I reasoned. Though that was only half of the truth.

"Right... well we still have 5 days left here. You better get used to it soon." LouLou added. I threw my blanket to the side and began to get ready.

After I finished, the 4 of us began to head out, and... surprise, surprise, surprise. Yuehua boys that are living across from us. We all greeted them good mornings until I saw ChengCheng. We walked side by side in silence.

Until he broke it by asking, "You sleep well?" I shrugged. "Not really. You?"

"It was okay."

I snickered a bit. "Well, at least one of us deserves a good night sleep." ChengCheng then was about to say something, when Seohyun came and dragged him away. I sometimes feel bad for him, but also believe that he asked for this. So heh. Whatever.

I took a seat beside Jiang, as we all got ready for breakfast when someone covered my eyes. "Good morning." I removed the hands away and looked back, seeing Ling Chao. "Good morning to you too."

He takes a seat down beside me, along with wrapping his arm around my waist firmly, making my heart flutter.

"Hey! Ling Chao-ge! Good morning!" Justing and Quanzhe greeted. Along with all the others. He would occasionally feed me some fruits and juice, which caught the eyes of many people, but mostly ChengCheng.

It's giving me this weird vibe.

After that. The scavenger hunt begins. I wasn't really hyped about it- actually, I'm not hyped about it at all, considering my group contains the devil. But also Ruibin and Ziyi. So I guess... - nope! It still sucks, because she's here.

"Okay, class! The main goal is you find these 10 items!" Our teachers yells as she handed us a piece of paper. "The first group to get them all and to me first, wins."

I looked back at my friends to see looks with pity.

Then the whistle blew, and our group began to run into the forest.

We found 5 out of 10 items already. Considering Ziyi, and Ruibin is pretty tall, so they see everything.

We were all fine until Ziyi came up with the idea of splitting up into 2... and guess who's my partner.

That's right! Ruib- no.

I got Seohyun. My rival is my partner. Funny how god makes this happens to good people.

"Alright, guys! Split up! Find what you can, then we'll meet back up here ok?"

"Yeah! No problem." She says. I rolled my eyes at them as we went our separate ways.

We found the other 3 items, and now have 2 left.

"Hey, Yuejia! I think I see it!" She hollers, pointing at something in the distance. I jog over to take a look when she whispers, "Goodbye Yuejia."
