27.| A Sign Of The Future

Hello Jennings!!

I recently got a PM from a Jenning, the message asked how I write my stories, how I can write so many at a time, and also how I come up with them. So I decided to explain to all of you, just in case you had the same questions, or you're just curious.

How I come up with my stories is from inspiration from other books, music, movies, TV shows, or even a picture that I see, could create a scene, so that is the startup for my books. After that, I would write them down on my iPhone, and yeah.

How I can write so many books at a time is because I feel like my ideas are so amazing, I need to show them to you guys!! So yes, feel confident about your stories and ideas! And I update so frequently is through you guys! Through motivation, determination and commitment.

Lastly, interact with your readers, let them know that you are reading all their comments and ideas, feelings, emotions. Basically, engage with them. They are not just your followers, readers, they are your friends, you don't have to know them personally; if you share the same interest, then that's all you need!

Your POV

Early in the morning I and ChengCheng bid our goodbyes to mama. I was thankful that she looks slightly more alive than the past week. But we still didn't talk much. There was still a wall between us that separated our bond... I honestly don't know if things will be the same as they used to anymore...

ChengCheng and I sat on the train and listened to music on our phones, we didn't really talk much since waking up this morning. I woke, with me resting my head on his shoulder, while his right arm was draped over mine. Long story short, I fell asleep in his arms while sitting, so we both had major back pain this morning, plus the awkwardness.

The song that came next up was BIG BANG's 'Let's Not Fall In Love'... I'm a huge Kpop fan since I was young, of course, BIG BANG was the group that got me into Kpop... I love each and every one of their songs... but suddenly hearing it now, in this mood and situation. There was a bittersweet feeling.

... A little spark inside of me that kinda reminded me of ChengCheng and I. It reminded me how much time we have been spending together, whether it was friendly, or not. I have spent time with him, by his side.

I know for one... my feelings for him aren't completely gone. I mean how could they be? I wasn't the one who decided to break up. But the feelings I had weren't as strong as they were before. Maybe because of the negative moment we had after, our small little arguments, fights, disagreements... but after thinking about this over and over. My life right now doesn't need to be more complicated... all I need is to focus on school... and only school.

"Aha~ Home sweet home!" I cheered happily, unlocking my door to see Jiang standing there already waiting for us.

"YUEJIA!! Welcome home!" She welcomes with open arms. I hugged her tightly as she rubbed and patted my head like a child.

"I'm so sorry about your papa..." Jiang whispers.

"I know... But can we not talk about that right now? I'm tired."

"Yeah, of course. You've been on a train for about 3 hours. Go on. I'll unpack for you."

"Thank you jiejie~" I sang in a cute manner. Jiang than pushed my playfully because I called her 'jiejie'. And I only call her that when I want something, or I'm being cute.

As I headed in my room, I heard ChengCheng and Jiang talk. I guess it was wrong for me to eavesdrop but curiously kills the cat.

"Hey! Fan ChengCheng! Is there anything wrong with Yuejia? I know she's putting up her happy face for me." Jiang said. I then heard ChengCheng sigh a bit before hearing him speak.

"How can she be happy? Her papa just passed away."

"I know that! But something he bothering her!"

"... She feels trapped and betrayed. But maybe you should talk to her about this."

I closed my eyes as I leaned my head at the door...

Thank you, ChengCheng...

"SHESH! Your no help!" Jiang yelled.

"Whatever... I'm heading home now. Telling Yuejia I said bye."

"No. Because you won't tell me anything, so I won't tell her!"

I didn't hear ChengCheng respond back but just the door closing, soon after I heard footsteps coming towards our room, indicating that Jiang is coming.

I quickly moved away from the door and jumped onto my bed, acting like everything was normal.

She opened the door and looked at me. "Hey. We need to talk."

I suddenly got very scared from the way she said that.

"T-Talk about what?"

"About what happened this past week, and what is going to happen onwards," Jiang replies as she climbed her bed.

"Fine... let's talk."

"Good." She starts. "Now tell about the past week."

I explained to her what happened, and the guilt that I still have growing inside of me. Jiang was speechless when I told her about papa's liver cancer and was even more speechless when I told her why my parents didn't tell me. I even told her about ChengCheng and how much I opened up to him in one night.

"And... now. Here we are..." I finish.

Jiang pursed her lips in a thin line before opened her mouth to say, "Yuejia... what is your goal now? Your papa's main goal was to see you graduate."

"And it will happen... I will graduate high school, pursue a stable career and-"

"And what about Fan ChengCheng?" Jiang interrupts.

"What about him?"

"Don't pretend I don't know the relationship you two have. It's quite noticeable when you spend most of your time with your ex-boyfriend."

I licked my bottom lips nervously.

Jiang knows me too well... even if I was the greatest actor she would still see right through it.

"I decided... to not focus on ChengCheng... right now, and onwards, I would focus on my studies. I'm going to put my relationship and love life to the side."

Jiang nodded firmly, agreeing to my words.

"Good. I think that's the only way as well."
