Your POV

So, let's skip forward a few weeks. The hotel is finally having it's grand opening today. ChengCheng invited everyone, from business partners to family members, and lastly to friends.

ChengCheng and I ran into Angie the other day, it was weird because she acted like the victim. Which made me laugh and walk away, letting them talk.

When ChengCheng ran after me and explained that he made it clear with her that nothing is happening. I'll be honest, it gave me a relieving feeling. But I quickly denied it and just answered back a simple 'okay'.

So, currently, Jiang and I are shopping. I'm trying to help pick out a fancy gown for her.

Then I began to tell her how things went with ChengCheng and me.

"Dude..." Jiang starts. "Why do you keep doing that to him?"

I raised both my brows. "What do you mean?"

"You're leading him on. But also pushing him away too. Like, pick aside."

"I'm not doing any of that!"

"Girl, shut up." She says before facing me. "1. You let him sleep in your hotel room. 2. You let him sleep in your room. Again too! 3. You allowed him to wrap his arm around you. 4. Yet, in the very end. You act as nothing has happened."

I kept quiet. I didn't know what to say. I had nothing to say back to her.

"Yuejia-ah. Listen to me. ChengCheng truly loves you. And you need to seize your moment before he leaves and maybe we won't come back after."

"Don't say that."

Jiang starred at me again. "How can I not? Just in case if it does happen." She stops and makes me face her, making us both having eye contact. 

"Listen to me. Or at least consider it. The dinner is this weekend. After that, ChengCheng is leaving the following 3 days. So you better confess to him as soon as possible."

It was finally the day of the grand opening for the hotel. We all got dressed very nicely for the press. 

Jiang, Yorong, LouLou and I all headed there together with our dates, well actually. Jiang and I were going together. While LouLou and Yorong went with their dates. I know. LouLou actually managed to find someone who is just as feisty as she is.

We are still getting to know the guy, but so far, we know that he is handsome and really smart. 

"Ms.Zhen!" I stopped in my tracks as we all entered the hotel when the colleague I had curry with called for my name. 

I smiled brightly before nudging Jiang with my elbow. 

If you don't remember, his name is Zhang Jinxing... and he has a crush on our Huo Jiang. 

"Mr. Zhang. I'm glad that we ran into each other like this." I smiled. I noticed how his cheeks turned slightly pink, while Jiang stood next to me, not really acknowledging him. I sighed hard before linking my arms to her. 

"Jiang, I heard you and Mr. Zhang here are mutual friends."

Jiang smiled brightly as she nodded awkwardly. "Y-Yeah. Um. Mr. Zhang. Nice to see you here." She says while extending her hand out. 

Zhang Jinxing gladly took it before saying, "Please, call me Jinxing. It's also nice to see you again too." 

With that, Jinxing took Jiang away from me, leaving me alone.
