Claudia

I hated thinking, even for a second, that I was a bad person because I wasn't. I was just a very overprotective mother who loved her children to bits and pieces.

I couldn't protect myself from my reality, so I decided to protect my children with everything I had and the fact that I had married into such a dangerous and rich family also made me even more powerful. I understood Hilary's position, even though I was the one that put her in that situation.

She had to leave, she had to go as far away as possible, she had to keep TsiTsi safe because if anything went wrong, my son's future would be put into jeopardy.

"Claudia!"

"Yes." I responded impulsively. I was in my head again, thinking. I blinked multiple times before looking at the figure before me and then I realised what I was doing before I dosed off.

"Are you ok?" Hilary asked me.

"I'm fine. What were we speaking about?" I asked.

"Well, you asked to see me. I think." Hilary said, taking a seat on my couch in my office. I sat next to her and recollected myself. I had to stay in my zone or my kids could get hurt.

"Listen." I said, sounding a little cold. "I have your passports ready. Visas, accommodation, careers, basically everything. Alfonsi is on his way with a few people we need to assess and after that, you'll leave."

"Where are we going?"

"South Africa."

"That is so far away, I won't be able to see my family, my friends. I can't..."

She wanted to start giving me problems now of all times. I wasn't Charles, I didn't tolerate that crap.

"... you can't afford to turn back now because I swear I will go with my first option of ending you and your son's life if you dare." I stated coldly.

I couldn't let her back out now. She had to stick to the plan, she was the only reason why TsiTsi was still alive. If she died, the boy died and the boy couldn't die. I hated to state this since I was who I was but, I needed TsiTsi alive.

"Claudia." Hilary said my name helplessly.

"Please don't try anything funny because I swear..." I bit my tongue in an attempt to stop myself from completely losing my temper. All this girl wanted to do was test my patience, I had noticed. "Hilary..." I said calmly. She looked at me with wide eyes. I hated myself sometimes. "... I need you to trust me."

She nodded her head and I felt so relieved.

"Damian Vesquez. Twenty-one years old, half Mexican and half African American. He is fluent in English and Spanish." Alfonsi announced.

The man who stood in front of me looked a little scared, as though he wasn't ready for what I had in task for him. He looked like a pretty little boy with no balls.

"Next." I said, not giving the boy one more glance.

He walked away and then a tall black man with a thick beard and grey eyes stood in front of us. Hilary sat up on her seat, she was obviously impressed with him, but I honestly had no interest in him, nor in love.
