Claudia

"Get her out of here!" Charles demanded while Bullet, Blade and Zeus tried their hardest to drag me out of the office.

Athena ran over to me, screaming desperately for me to stop, and slowly looking paler and scarier.

I pushed everyone off of me and ran out of the office and into my own.

I couldn't believe how they all tried to protect him. The bastard. Why were they saving him from my wrath? What would they gain? I felt a slight pain in my chest and snarled loudly as I gripped myself and crouched forward, then my mind came back to reality. I stood back up and my tears flowed down my cheeks.

Not now, please not now. I couldn't afford to get emotional now of all times.

I poured my whiskey and drank it down in one gulp, so I grabbed the crystal bottle and drank straight from it.

"Ma, Ma open this door now!" Zeus screamed, banging at my door.

I couldn't even begin to think about what I was going to do next. My mind was racing with thoughts, but none of them were good enough.

The banging of the door and the banging in my head were competing with each other to see who would be the loudest, I was certain I knew that the world was caving in.

"Claudia give me my family!" He screamed at me.

I felt my skin peeling and my eyes bleeding. Everything was just black. How could he do this to me?

It hurt to breathe in that moment and it hurt even more to live. I was a wreck. For so long I had lived without my family and now I found out that they were still alive, I didn't even know what to do to get them back.

"Ma, please... please open the door!" Athena begged me. Everyone was pleading with me, Charles was screaming and Bullet and Blade were trying their hardest to calm everyone down.

I threw the crystal in my hand straight through the window over-looking my garden and it broke the whole thing down. Broken glass was everywhere, shattered and glistening from the sun's rays.

It all looked like an escape. An open window which went down two stories towards well cut and gushing green lands of grass. If I took one leap, not even that, but just one step, then all of the heartache would end.

Where was she? Where was she when I needed her? Hera?

God, my final wish was just to see my little lamb for the last time.

I needed her soothing voice, innocent eyes, soft touch, radiant smile and reassuring look she gracefully and willingly gave when I was in the bottom of my abyss. But she wasn't here, I couldn't die and rest in peace because she wasn't here.

"MA!!! What broke?! What was that sound?! What did you BREAK MA!!!" Zeus screamed with all he had, his voice hoarse and slowly but surely ending. He sounded teary and almost on the verge of insanity.

"Mama! MAMA!!!!" Athena also cried for me. She was helplessly weak and couldn't afford to lose me just yet. She had just left the love of her life, that wimp, and she had a terrible illness which I had no idea of. What if ending my life resulted in her ending hers?
