"I'm coming with!" I demanded, not wanting to give him an opportunity to argue with me.
Blade just shrugged me off, trying his hardest to avoid me, but it was obvious that I was getting to him. I may have been on a wheelchair, I may have been viewed as a harmless angel with no aggression or vengeance, but my mother looked too disturbed to be left alone. I couldn't leave her to tend to her wounds by herself.
While my siblings were tending to my unconscious father in his room, my mother and Blade were planning a flight to Australia. My mother had vanished into her room, packing everything she needed in a haste. I could tell just from her fast movements, frustrated face and heavy breathing that she was in a hurry, but also that she was nervous.
Nervous to see her mother and sisters. It was obvious that she hadn't seen them in a very long time, the fact that she wanted to see them so badly was proof enough.
I didn't want to disturb her, so I looked for Blade because I knew that he was going too. She never went anywhere without him.
I found him in her office, typing madly on his laptop while talking through his earpiece, so I went towards him to ask him to go with. The plan was to come as humble and as concerned as possible, but Blade made everything so difficult. He definitely didn't want me to come with.
"Blade, I didn't ask." I said again, trying my hardest to sound as intimidating as Ma, but he just chuckled.
He walked towards me and kneeled in front of me so that he could be at eye level with me. He placed his thick, rough hands on my smooth skin and grinned. He still had his shades on.
"You aren't going anywhere." He said with a calm voice, which just frustrated me more.
"Blade please..." I tried to raise my voice, but my throat was still dry from all of the crying I was doing a while ago in my father's room. Ma's flight was tonight, she'd be in Australia by six in the morning.
"I need to be by her side. She needs me, you know she needs me. What if she falls apart? What if she can't do it? What if she ends up trying to hurt herself or... them?"
"Do you think that I am capable of that?" A velvety voice resounded behind me, making me nervous.
Blade got back up and backed up away from me and nodded his head in her direction. He immediately disappeared and then a firm hand landed on my right shoulder, revealing my mother.
She was dressed in black loose-fitting pants, a black silk blouse and a blue blazer. She always looked so presidentially striking, compared to me in my grey nightdress with fuzzy pink slippers. I felt so underdressed.
"I asked you a question. Do you think that I am capable of hurting my own family? A family that your father took away from me and kept secret from me for twenty-five years." She asked me, sounding emotionless, back to her usual.
I wanted to say something, but I was scared that something bad could've happened thereafter. This was obviously a very sensitive situation for my mother and if I said anything that she took the wrong way, I'd regret it. I became very cautious of my words.
"Answer me." She demanded, raising her eyebrow at me and leaning against her table behind her, she wasn't giving me any emotion.
I just stayed silent, feeling her gaze send chills down my spine. She was challenging me. If I wanted to go to Australia, I'd have to prove myself to her. I wanted to go with her, mostly to be there for her, but part of me wanted to know exactly what happened twenty-five years ago.

Acción"This is Hilary." I introduced her, still not being able to move an inch because of Claudia's eyes glued permanently on Hilary. Immediately after saying that, Claudia got up, pulling her gun from her hip and aiming it at Hilary. Hilary screamed out...
