Author's Farewell

Sho guys!

It's official, The Queen is completed. Wave goodbye to Queen Claudia King and her family. Wave goodbye to Zeus' never-ending questions, Athena's sad love life, Hera's good heart, Poseidon's funny personality.

I actually cried when I wrote the final chapter because this book has been extremely emotional for me. To think that it started off so small is unbelievable, but I want to thank all of you guys profusely for staying with me during my crazy updating schedules and my even crazier cliffhangers. I'm sorry if I made any of you angry because of those, it's just fun for me.

I have three announcements to make, big, big, big announcements, but before that, I'd like to hit you with some facts about the book which no-one knows. I didn't add these facts because they didn't fit in with the story but they were in my original impression of the book before I actually wrote it.

1.) Charles was supposed to be a white man.

2.) Cynthia was supposed to be dead.

3.) Luther was supposed to be alive, but in hiding.

4.) Athena was supposed to be a lesbian.

5.) Hera was supposed to kill Charles.

6.) Poseidon was supposed to be kidnapped, not Hera.

7.) Blade was supposed to have an affair with Claudia.

8.) Claudia was supposed to torture Charles for the rest of his days after stealing him from the police's custody. She chose to love him, isn't that just a happy ending?

9.) Charlene was supposed to be a housewife.

10.) Sarah was also supposed to be dead.

Yep, now imagine if all of that was in the story now, it would make no sense. I'm actually quite grateful that my creativity got the better of me.

Now for the three announcements.

Number #1

This book is officially a sequel!! Get ready for Book Two, The Queen: Love's Death, officially out now. Who's love do you think will die? I really want to know what you guys think.

You guys are just the absolute best of people in the world. You've motivated me even when I knew that the writer's block was going to force me to unpublish the entire book. Because of you, #QCK even has its own sequel. Trust me when I say that you will find out why Claudia is the way she is. Maybe in a Book Three, still considering that.
