I couldn't sleep a wink after the crisis had come up. Last night was just a nightmare with calls after calls, struggling to keep my calm and collected self. Finding a private jet in such a last minute haste was the worst experience and to top it all of, Hilary wasn't even home when everything was ready.

In South Africa, it was midday and she was at work. It took a few hours but eventually she, TsiTsi and Jermaine arrived at midnight.

"They have landed. I'm going to go fetch them." Blade said to me. I nodded my head in response and he walked out, then Hera rolled in and she had her laptop on her lap.

She stopped in front of me and stayed silent, making me curious. She couldn't have come in to sit in complete silence and uncertainty, that wasn't possible. Something was wrong. She seemed off. She had her head hung down and her lap was shivering. I instantly felt worried for her.

"What's wrong?" I asked. She sniffed and looked at me, exposing her teary eyes. My adrenaline rush kicked in and I got onto my knees in front of her and held her hands in mine. "Talk." I demanded.

She looked away from me again, not wanting to either show me her tears or show me how much she couldn't control her tears. She wasn't supposed to be crying, tears coming out of her eyes made me empty inside, they made my stomach twist into a knot... they made me sad.

Hera looked at her laptop, then looked at me. Something was on that laptop, something that made her cry. If any of this had to do with Charles, I'd kill him. I grabbed the laptop viciously and scanned through it.

I read it once, and found myself gasping out for air. I looked up at her and looked back down, I read through it at least five times before finally realising exactly what was on the screen in front of me. The news made my blood rush.

It was a letter from Harvard. Hera was accepted... she was going to Harvard.

I looked at her and saw a wide, eye-to-eye smile and the tears still flowing down her cheeks.

"Hera!" I jumped up in joy and squeezed her while she did the same.

"I know!" She shrieked back while in my arms. We were squeezing each other so tightly that we had started to sway from left to right as we let the good news settle in us. My baby was going to Harvard!

"This is so exciting!"

"I know!"

"You're going to study Business Economics at Harvard!"

"I know!"

"I'm so excited!"

"I know!"

I couldn't find it in me to let her go, it felt too good to let go.

I had witnessed her slave herself off, she had heavy nights, long nights and sometimes even sleepless nights. She focused so much on her studies, she almost never left the house unless she was going to school. It had started to worry me at the time, but to see what the outcome of her beating herself up was, I didn't regret any of her decisions. She looked like she didn't regret them either.

Getting into Harvard was just a step in the right direction for my little lamb, after this she would start her own accounting business, then she will grow to become the richest woman on the face of the earth, and the richest person in the world.

"Ma... I c-can't breathe." She sighed, making me realise how the more I rejoiced internally, the tighter I squeezed. I was over the moon, out of the solar system and space-dancing my way into the black hole in the centre of the galaxy.
