{January 16th, 2010 Detroit, MI Nick- 17|Mel-15} {{otherwise known as the day I met Nick Jonas for the first time.... 😍🥰🥺}}
"So you're telling me that Hollywood Records and Disney want Selena to come and be on tour with me... have me fake date her." he emphasized some of his words, still not believing all of this. "...all for publicity and to potentially break up my real girlfriend and I, just to promote the movie and her show?!" Nick exclaimed, his voice cracking from how upset he was at that moment.
His father nodded, taking a deep breath in, "Yes, that's exactly it." he sighed, realizing how messed up it all sounded, "isn't Melissa coming tonight?" Kevin Sr. asked.
Nick nodded, "Yah, she's on a flight with mom right now." the teen sighed, placing his head in his hands. "this isn't gonna end well, is it dad?" Nick asked, chewing on his lip.
Kevin Sr. shook his head, "No, son... no it's not." she replied, wishing there was something he could do to make this all go away.
Then his phone dinged, making both of the Jonases jump slightly, "Selena is downstairs." he sighed, after looking at his phone.
"Wait... I didn't even have a choice? They just decided for me?!" his voice was strained, "once all of these stupid ass projects are done, we're leaving Disney. I'm sick of this." he grumbled, getting up to go and look at least a little presentable for the fellow "prisoner" of Disney.
Kevin Sr. chuckled and went to go call his wife to go give them a heads up of what was going on.
After a few minutes went by, there was a knock at the door and Nick let out an annoyed groan, "Do I really have to do this?" he asked his father one last time. Kevin Sr. nodded sadly and let the Disney starlet in. "Hello, Selena. How are you?" he asked politely.
Nick smiled weakly at the teen, reaching out a hand to her, he hadn't seen her at all since they filmed the music video for Send it On, which was a couple months back.
"Hey, Nick." she said sweetly, "I'm sorry Disney is making us do this, I tried to get us out of having to do this." she sighed, taking a deep breath in, "my mom got them to agree to us sharing a big room that had two separate conjoined rooms though, so we don't have to share an actual room together." she added, hoping that it would make things a little better.
Nick smiled at her, now knowing that she didn't want to do this as much as he did. "Especially because my actual girlfriend is on her way here as we speak..." he said softly, going and sitting down on the bed. "So I apologize in advance for anything rude she may say to you. She can be quite feisty sometimes." he chuckled.
