{January 7th, 2020 Encino, California Nick and Mel's House}
"So, everything is taken care of with the Twitter issue?" Nick asked, his iPhone in hand as he walked into the kitchen. The sudden arrival of his voice caused his fiancé to jump and drop the dish she was washing in the sink.
"Yes, I want to proceed with the case. I don't care if it's fucking teenage girls, they need to be held accountable." he seethed, "do you understand what my fiancé and my family has been through in the past four years?" He exclaimed, his blood instantly boiling.
"Exactly. That's why we're continuing with the court proceedings." he snapped, hanging up the phone before sighing.
"Will this nightmare be over soon?" Melissa's soft voice spoke, turning her small body around. Tears welled up in her brown eyes as Nick took small strides over to her.
"I know these girls started a war between the fandom... and somehow I feel like this is all my fault... but we will figure this out. The lawyers found hate going all the way back to the Disney days..." Nick explained, his arms wrapping around her lightly.
"But all this comes with the territory, everything will be fine. I promise." he whispered, pressing a few soft kisses against her forehead. "I need you to go get dressed missy, as we have to get to your doctors appointments." he explained. ———- {At said Doctors Appointment}
"Melissa Wood?" the nurse called out, as the anxious couple hurried to follow the nurse.
"So you believe you are pregnant, yes?" she questioned after they got comfortable in the room.
"Yes. I took three home tests, all came up positive, and I have started to have the warning symptoms as well." Melissa explained, holding onto Nick's hand tightly.
"I see, well we will do a ultrasound to see if there is anything in there." the nurse smiled, "lay back for me?"
Melissa did as she was told, holding up her shirt so the nurse could put the cold gel on.
After a few minutes, a small bean like blob was on the screen, "here is Baby Jonas." she said softly.
"Wow..." Melissa gasped, tears welling up in her eyes as Nick sniffled.
"Healthy? H-How far along am I?" Melissa questioned, her eyes not leaving the screen.
"It looks like you are about 2 months along, maybe 2 and a half. At your next appointment we will be able to tell better where you are exactly." The nurse explained, "now I know you both had some concerns about your Epilepsy?"
Nick nodded, looking down at his fiancé, knowing how touchy this was for her.
"Yah... I already had my neurologist change my medication... but will my seizures harm the baby?" Melissa asked, hoping and praying for a good response. Her Epilepsy was always her worry about starting a family with Nick.
