"So, all we have to do is sign the documents then just email a copy to you?" Nick asked, walking back and forth from the little kitchenette to the front of the bus.

"Yes, then I will send the papers to the home owners, and once all the financial things are all set. The home will then be yours." the realtor spoke into the phone.

Melissa sat cross-legged on the couch, the excitement running through her veins was crazy. She never thought that at her age, she'd be in a committed relationship and buying her first house.

What the Hell?

"I'll let you know when we email the copy, talk to you later?" Nick asked, then a few seconds later, his cute little butt plopped beside her. "Ready to make us official homeowners?" he whispered, pecking her lips gently.

Melissa nodded, signing the document after Nick signed all of the bookmarked X's.

"Another chapter of our life is starting." he smiled over at her.

"Oh you have no idea

"Oh you have no idea..." she thought in her head, as she realized that once again she was in panic mode. Her period was once again a week late.

This time she definitely was going to take a test.

A few hours went by, and Nick was off to soundcheck with his brothers.

To Soph❤️: do you still have those pregnancy tests you bought last week? Can i use them?

Melissa waited patiently, her body leaned against the wall. Her nerves were shot, and she couldn't breathe correctly. What if she was pregnant?

The time ticked by, no text back from the fellow Jonas Sister... but the door to the tour bus slammed open, causing the brunette to jump.

"God, Soph! Don't do that to me!" She exclaimed, watching the blonde come up to her. "You gonna do this?"

"I have to... I haven't had symptoms... thank God. But, I want to know. It's been eating me alive for the past few days." Melissa replied, "be right back."

Minutes seemed like a lifetime, and finally she successfully peed on all three tests, letting them lay peacefully on some toilet paper.

Her hands were shaking, trembling even... as the younger girl hugged her. "Everything will be fine. I promise, boo." she tried to get Melissa to smile. "No matter the results, he loves you either way."

*her phone's alarm goes off*

"Ready?" Sophie asked her, grasping onto her hand as they peeked over the counter.

"Fuck..." was the first thing to come out of the brunette's mouth. Tears instantly began falling from her brown eyes. Should she be happy? Should she be scared?

"Hey... Hey..." Soph took her into a bone-crushing hug, "you listen to me, missy. You are going to be the best mom ever. And Nick is gonna be so happy, don't let those condescending thoughts in that head of yours, overwhelm you."

"Thank you, Soph." she whispered, hiccuping as the sobs overtook her. Her head was practically spinning from both sides of her trying to convince her different things.

"Should I tell him today?" Melissa mumbled, wiping furiously at her eyes.

"I'd come up with a cute idea. I'll help you, promise." Sophie smiled, "but first we have to get rid of the evidence." she giggled.

Melissa grabbed the tests, washing them off in the sink, taking in a deep breath.

Her shaking hands grabbed a towel then wrapped it around the newly cleaned little pieces of plastic. Sophie took the towel and hid it behind some cleaning supplies under the sink. "There, he will never find them." she smiled.

A few days went by, and things were set for Melissa to tell the curly the "big" news. To say she was nervous, would be an understatement.

The couple walked hand in hand into the tour bus. So many nerves running through her veins as she knew what was sitting on their bed at the back of the bus.

"Let's go to bed, ya babe?" she looked over at Nick, who smiled. "Of course, that show did tire me out." Leaning over, he kissed her softly.

Once the door was open and his eyes landed on the comforter, he gasped.

It took a few seconds for his mind to connect the dots. "Wait... baby... you...?" he stuttered out, at a complete loss for words. "You're...?"

Melissa stood behind him, a hand resting on her non-existent baby bump, tears already welling up in her eyes. "You're gonna be a Daddy, Nick."

"Oh my God!" he exclaimed, turning to look at her, immediately taking her in his arms and spun her around. "Are you sure? Did you take a test?"

She nodded, "yup. I took three, actually." she giggled, her small hands placed at the back of his neck. "You're o-okay with this?"

Nick looked at her shocked, "are you kidding me Angel. I'm so excited! We're gonna be parents!" he kissed her lovingly.

"I mean... the timing could've been better. But we're gonna have a baby... our baby that we made together out of love." his calloused fingers reached out to move some hair out of her eyes.

"I love you." she whispered, resting her body against his.

"And I love you, my angel. And our little bird." he replied, moving his hand to rest on her tummy, right under the shirt she was wearing.
