"So we're really cancelling it?" Joe sighed, not really believing that they were actually cancelling the one thing they all had been working for, for so long.

"There's nothing we can do. With the growing concern with Covid-19.... we have to." Paul, the band's manager replied, typing up a "letter" to the fans on his laptop as quickly as he could. "We can talk to MGM about rescheduling for after all this shit is over with."

Nick rested his head in his hands, hating that this decision had to happen, but some how happy so he could focus on Melissa.

"I mean... with what just happened to Lyss, I'm sort of grateful." Nick interjected, the air around them all quickly turning tense.

He hadn't tried to think of the fact they had lost their daughter just a mere week ago. He still hadn't had the proper time to heal himself.

"Oh yah, how is she doing? How are you doing with it?" Paul questioned, his eyes full of concern.

"She still is barely talking... eating. All she does is stare off into space. I'm really worried about her." Nick replied, looking over at his sleeping fiancé.

"I guess I'll go start packing..." Joe patted his brother on the back, then headed out of the silent hotel room and towards his own.

"Let me know if you guys need anything Nick, okay?" Paul asked, as he stood up. His hand rested on the young male'a shoulder, knowing how much this was killing the curly headed male. "I know you two will get through this. You always do."

"Thanks Paul." Nick replied, hugging the man he had known for many years by now. "Means a lot to me, and her too."

A few days later}

"Babe, you need anything?" Nick asked, peeking his head into their bedroom. His brown eyes falling on his fiancé, hoping that he could have his fun-loving girl back.

Melissa shook her head, pulling the blankets up her body more. "No t-thank you babe." she whispered, "j-just my baby b-back..."

Nick came up and sat beside her, rubbing his calloused hand along the blanket, "I wish I could take this pain away babygirl..." he sighed, making sure he looked into her eyes.

"Please just know I am never ever leaving your side. We will get through this. One day we will have our baby... our family." he leaned down and pressed a soft kiss on her cheek. "I love you."

{April 9th, 2020
GMA interview.}

The boys were each in their respective homes but were together virtually doing an interview for Good Morning America.

Robin Roberts smiled at the camera in front of her, "So you guys are all getting through this quarantine? Staying safe?"

Each of the boys nodded, "Yeah, and constantly writing songs as that's all we can basically do nowadays." Nick smiled, looking over at his fiancé who was petting their dog; Gino.

"Nick, speaking of you... how are you and Melissa doing? All of us here at GMA are thinking of you guys at this difficult time." she said softly, referring to the miscarriage Melissa suffered a few months back.

Nick smiled weakly, "Everyday is a new struggle, a new battle. We're getting through it slowly but surely. The residency being cancelled right after, honestly was a blessing in disguise for us." he replied, shrugging at the last bit.

Joe, Kevin and also Robin nodded, understanding that this was probably one of the hardest things the couple has had to go through.

"Well at least you both have each other during this time." Robin smiled softly, before changing the subject suddenly, "we'll be right back with more of Good Morning America after the break."

Quarantine came and went, all the while Melissa and Nick slowly healed. The wounds that came up because of losing their daughter were almost finally gone.

Even though they wouldn't ever forget their daughter, they felt that it was time to start planning their wedding once and for all.

To make Melissa an official Jonas.
