{June 20th, 2019 Paris, France Nick-26|Mel-24}
The next few weeks would be crazier than what everyone thought. From getting ready for Joe and Sophie's destination wedding, to sightseeing and just having some relaxation before tour rehearsals started.
Nick and Melissa stepped off the private jet, hand in hand. "When was the last time we had gone to Paris?" she asked, looking up at the curly haired Jonas.
"Probably the last time we were together." he said softly, squeezing her hand gently to remind her to think of right now and not the past.
"Oh yah..." she whispered, her head resting on his shoulder for a few seconds as they stopped, "don't think about that... think of our future." he kissed her lips. They were still trying to get her passed having the bad thoughts creep their way into her head. "It's you and me forever, remember baby?"
She nodded, taking a deep breath in, "forever and always." she replied, interlacing their fingers together. ———- The taxi ride to the hotel was silent, except for the occasional giggle from Melissa. He at some points would look at her, poking her cheek or her nose just to get her to smile at him.
After the seizure incident a few weeks back, her mental health had been lacking. She wasn't her goofy, fun-loving self like she used to be. The glimmer in her eyes, wasn't there, no matter how much she wanted it to be...
Some nights, she would go to bed early just to get away from the world and the ever-present tweets and social media posts about how she was fucked up, not deserving Nick.
The taxi came to a stop in front of the massive hotel everyone would be staying at. "Angel." Nick whispered, bringing her out of her thoughts, "hmm?" she mumbled as her eyes twitched slightly.
"We're here." he said quietly, reaching over to unbuckle her seatbelt. "Want to take a bath when we get inside?" he asked as the taxi driver grabbed their bags from the back.
She nodded her head, yawning. Her small body followed his inside the hotel. "S-Sounds good to me." she whispered, leaning against him as they waited for the elevator to ding.
