Standing on the Happiness Begins tour stage, the three Jonas boys were all microphoned up, and cameras already on them.
"Welcome to Miami, it's the opening night of the Jonas Brothers' World Tour, "Happiness Begins"." the interviewer from E News stood in between Joe and Nick, "and only E News is gonna take you backstage, are you guys ready?" he turned to look at them.
Each one of the boys nodded, listening to what else the guy had to say, "it has been six years since you have been together, going out on tour. How does it feel when you look back there?" the interviewer pointed back behind him towards the stage. "And you see that your back together again?"
Nick looked over at his brothers, then responded to the guy, "It's an incredible feeling, and you know this tour... uhm, in a lot of ways was kind of the perfect storm. Everything between Sucker and Cool and the record. I think all of it was kind of pointing towards this moment to be back on stage together.
"And us saying 'okay, are we good?' We had to make sure family first making that the priority between the three of us." he continued, watching his words carefully, "and you know after about a year and a half of doing some real hard work on that and having those tough conversations, we got to the point where we actually said, "okay, we can do this again."
All four men nodded amongst themselves, "Are your wives here tonight?" he looked at Joe and Kevin, "and Nick is your girlfriend here as well?"
"Yes, everyone is in town... even our parents." Joe explained, "it's gonna be quite the party."
"Especially since Melissa and I are also performing a song together on stage, for the first time in ten years." ————- {Later on that day}
"Boys, you have to go to the meet and greet in 15 minutes." Phil poked his head into the dressing room.
"Got it. Thanks Phil!" Kevin exclaimed, while sitting next to Danielle as the girls rode around the cramped room on their scooters.
Melissa stood behind Nick as he sat in front of her, as she finished touching up his curls. "A-Annnnnnd your hair looks perfect." she leaned over to kiss his cheek, giggling.
"Mhmm, thank you baby." he mumbled, swinging the chair around to pull her frame against his. Her small hands clutched onto the shirt he was wearing, "anytime babe." she whispered.
Time went by slowly and the boys were on their way to the "meet and greet" room backstage. As the trio walked closer to the large room, the buzzing sound of the girls got louder and louder. ——- While the boys were doing all the celebrity things, the family was mingling, trying to pass the time.
