GabRo’s Residences
Benji and Sinag arrived at their condo building passing four in the morning. Holding hands, they took the elevator from the parking to their respective units.
“Sayang naman yung rental ng unit ko one night ko lang natulugan. I think you should give-up the unit and I’ll just book a room in a hotel near your office. After Wednesday, balik Candelaria na kasi ulit ako” Sunshine said while they are in the lift.
“It’s alright, Dad gave us a good discount for the rental fee of the unit” Benji replied beaming
“What do you mean your Dad?” Sunshine asked
“My dad is the major stock holder of this building. He and my Godfather share the ownership of this building, until my godfather sold his shares that make my Dad the major stockholder of this place. Didn't you notice the name? GabRo stands for Gabriel Rosales. Bata pa ako when Dad decided to buy a small share of this building. This is actually the first property that he ventured of, buti na lang nagprosper” Benji replied
“You’re lucky because you don’t have to pay your rent since your Dad owns this building” Sunshine said but Benji just smiles at her as the lift opens at their floor.
“I would be happy to give-up your unit and share my unit with you” Benji said
“Are you reporting for work early today?” Sunshine asked
“Don’t change the topic Sinagtala. Ano na, would you like to share the unit with me para hindi naman sayang ang rental fee ng unit mo katulad ng sinasabi mo kanina” Benji asked teasing
“Ewan ko sa yo Benjie, pagod ka na talaga kung anu-ano na naman ang sinasabi mo eh” Sunshine replied
“I’m not tired, naka-charge kaya ako while on the road. Iba ka talagang energizer Sinagtala Obispo” Benji said
“Shut up Benjamin Rosales. Dito na ‘ko, you may let go of my hand now. Have a good rest para hindi ka antukin sa trabaho mamaya” Sunshine said upon reaching her front door
“Alright, have a good rest too. And about your question earlier, I will be in the office maybe before eleven unless you’ll join me for lunch, I'll just report to office at around two. Parang hindi na kasi ako sanay kumain ng lunch na hindi ikaw ang kasabay” Benji flirtly said
“Jorge and I will be having lunch later. You may join us if you like” Sunshine replied
“Wag na, baka makaistorbo pa ako sa moment nyo” Benji said pouting
“The five year old Benji Rosales, pouting at me, will you stop that it’s not cute” Sunshine said chuckling
“I don’t care if you don’t find it cute, at least you know that you broke my heart because you prefer to have lunch with Jorge rather than I” Benji replied
“You don’t know what you are saying Benji, wag kang magpa-cute kasi hindi naman cute. Magpahinga ka na nga kasi, paggising mo wala na yan. Goodnight or should I say Good mornight Benji. Sweet dreams” Sunshine said
“I certainly will because I know, I will dream of you, Good mornight my sweet starlight” Benji pleasantly replied and kissed Sunshine at her forehead which gained him a sweet smile from his starlight before she went inside her unit.
Sunshine woke up due to continuous knocks at her unit. She forced herself to stand to open the door despite being half asleep.
She got widely awake upon seeing who the people at her doorsteps are
