On their way going back to Candelaria, Jorge and Katrina notice the cold treatment of Benji to Sunshine and vise versa, as the couple barely talks to each other. It was a quiet journey which both Jorge and Katrina did not expect to have.
“Ang tahimik naman sa earth, walang man lang pumapansin sa atin, mukhang gusto ng dalawang ‘to mapag-isa. Ano sa tingin mo Katrina?” Jorge suddenly speaks
“Oo nga, pakiramdam ko tuloy hindi ako welcome na sumabay sa kanilang dalawa because of privacy invasion. Pero di ba, quiet naman tayong dalawa Jorge kahit magmomol pa silang dalawa sa harap natin, ok lang kunwari wala tayong nakita” Katrina seconded
“Sana nagdala na lang ako ng kotse ko, mukhang hindi naman tayo welcome makisabay sa kanilang dalawa” Jorge uttered
“Sana nagdala ka na nga lang ng kotse mo Jorge, para sa iyo na lang ako nakisabay” Sunshine finally commented.
Jorge and Katrina look at each other as if confirming their earlier hunch about Benji and Sunshine having a lover’s quarrel. “Ay bakit may ganyang comment Sinagtala? May LQ ba ang mga pabebe ng St. Catherine High School?” Jorge asked teasing but Sunshine throws a sharp stare at him
“Ok lang kami Jorge” Benji briefly uttered which makes Sinag throws a sharp stare at Benji too with a lifted eyebrow.
“Mukhang ngang ok kayo, ang talim tumingin ng nag-iisang anak ni Teddy Obispo eh. May kasama pang pag-irap na parang anytime now bubuga na ng apoy” Jorge said
“Hindi ba tayo kakain muna, gutom na ako eh” Katrina said
“Paanong gutom ka eh, nilantakan mo yung carrot cake sa ref ko kanina bago tayo pumunta ng RHC” Jorge objected
“Wala kang pakialam bakla, basta gutom ako. Pwede bang magstop-over muna tayo Benji, kain muna tayo saka kanina ko pa gustong mag c.r. eh” Katrina said
“No problem, sa next gasoline station mag stop-over tayo. Tamang tama, magpapa-gas na rin ako” Benji said
Nobody speaks until they reach the gasoline station. Sunshine, Jorge and Katrina went out from of the car, while Benji remains inside.
“Hintayin ka na lang namin sa Mc Donalds Benji” Katrina said.
“I’ll just park and wait for you. Don’t worry about me, busog pa ako” Benji said
“Tara na, wag pilitin ang ayaw” Sunshine said and immediately walks towards the McDonalds
“Basta hintayin ka namin” Katrina said
“Wag na, ok lang ako girls. Busog pa talaga ako” Benji said
“Sure ka ba?” Katrina asked
“Of course, I’m sure. Sige na, iniwan na kayo ni Sinag oh. Pakabusog kayo ha” Benji said then Jorge and Katrina immediately followed Sunshine at the fastfood store.
Due to the long cue, Katrina asked Sunshine to come with her in the restroom while Jorge waits in line to order for their food. While the two girls are on their way to the restroom, Katrina grabs the chance to ask her friend on what is going on between her and Benji.
“What is happening Sinagtala Obispo, bakit nag-iinarte ka?” Katrina asked
“What are you saying Katrina?” Sunshine replied as if she does not know what does Katrina is talking about
