RHC Office - Ayala Avenue Makati City
Sunshine arrived at the RHC office a little late for Benji to leave the office. Marj tours her around their office and introduced her to their employees. Last stop was at Benji's office where the latter impatiently waited for her.
"Why are you still here, I thought ten ang meeting mo, late ka na" Sunshine said
"Yes I am, but I told you that I'll wait for you." Benji replied as he stood up to greet Sunshine with a peck on her cheek. Though Sunshine gets a little awkward on Benji's gesture because of Marj's presence, she just prefers not to give a big fuss about it. "Kasi naman itong si Marj, inuna pang ilibot ka sa buong office before your courtesy call to the company president" he lamented
"Pasensya na boss, excited na kasi yung mga employees natin sa bisita nating celebrity" Marj cheerfully apologized
"So uunahin natin ang excitement ng mga empleyado natin, regardless kung hindi tayo makapag-sara na deal dahil na-late ako sa appointment ko Marj?" Benji seriously asked
"Sorry boss" Marj said
"Leave us" Benji straightly said
"Ok boss, I'm sorry again" Marj said then humbly leaves Benji and Sunshine in the room
"You don't have to be that mean to Marj especially sa harap ng ibang tao" Sunshine commented
"Hindi ka ibang tao, besides she know that I am not leaving yet for my appointment because I am waiting for you. Sometimes kasi she tends to forget the boundaries between being my secretary and being my friend" Benji said
"But that does not warrant you to be rude to your employees, hindi ganyan ang natatandaan kong itinuro mo sa akin" Sunshine said.
Benji did not reply anymore but instead she grabs Sunshine to hug her "I'm sorry" he said and kisses Sunshine on her temple
"Wag ka sa akin mag sorry, si Marj ang sinungitan mo" Sunshine said
"She has to do her job well so that she will not be reprimanded. Hindi ko kailangang mag-sorry sa palpak na trabaho regardless of how close she is to me. She knows that I am already late for my appointment and I could not leave because I am waiting for you. If she cares for her job, she'll not commit a mistake as little as this" Benji said
"I understand, but at least talk to her privately to remind her of her boundaries" Sunshine said
"Hey, what do we have here? The trainee is teaching her trainor on how to handle his subordinates" Benji said while his arms still wraps around Sunshine.
"Leave now sir Benji, sobrang late ka na" Sunshine said
"Five minutes more, nacha-charge pa ako eh. I need this because today will be a busy day. Dad asked me to go with him in Subic para sa isang event this evening. Hindi na ako makakabalik dito sa office because I will be meeting Dad after my appointment. I will miss having dinner with you. May gusto pa naman akong sabihin sa yo" Benji said
"Ako rin, may sasabihin din sa yo, but don't worry I'll be fine, hahatakin ko na lang si Katrina at si Jorge to have dinner with me later" Sunshine said
"What do you want to tell me?" Benji asked
"Next time na lang kapag hindi ka na busy, it is not so important anyway" Sunshine said
"I will miss you, kasi malamang bukas na kita makikita ulit because for sure Dad and I will be back very late this evening" Benji said
"I'll see you then tomorrow" Sunshine replied smiling
