According to Beverly, Sunshine and Katrina shall resume their shoot after lunch of the next day. Therefore, Benji and Sunshine would able to have a chance to have lunch with Tatay Teddy. They saw a different energy with the folk as it is very evident in Tatay Teddy and he could not help but share it with the Benji and Sunshine.
“Tumawag si Mike kanina habang nasa Sinagtala kayong dalawa. Hindi mo binanggit sa akin na nasa Padre Burgos pala sya Sinag. Matagal na rin kaming hindi nagkikita nyang si Mike. Nakakatuwa talaga ang batang yun, kahit kailan ay hindi nakakalimot na kamustahin ako” Tatay Teddy bubbly said.
Sunshine got shocked upon learning that Mike made an effort to get in touch with her father. She was not able to tell this to Benji during their talk the previous night. Not because she finds it unnecessary but she completely forgot that Tatay Teddy is also very fond of Mike.
Mike met Tatay Teddy when he had an attack. He was the one who visited him in Sunshine’s behalf because she was too tied up with her commitments in Paris. Since then, whenever Mike has an opportunity to visit his Lola in Batangas, he makes sure to pay Tatay Teddy a visit. Unfortunately, Benji was often not around during those stopovers.
“Nakilala mo na ba si Mike, Benji?” Tatay Teddy asked
“Hindi pa po kami nagkakaroon ng pagkakataon na magkakilala” Benji politely replied
“Sana makilala mo na sya. Napakabait na bata, parang ikaw. Natitiyak ko na makakasundo mo ang batang iyon” Tatay Teddy said beaming
“Sana nga po makilala ko na sya” Benji briefly replied and choose to just remained mum.
After his talk with Sunshine the previous night, his anxiety somewhat lessen but not totally removed. The way he sees Mike, he is someone who respects a relationship but he also sees him as someone who will grab an apportunity if the other party became complacent. He never thought that Mike have this close relationship with Sunshine’s father. He remember an instance that Tatay Teddy told him about a certain friend of Sunshine who never fails to visit him everytime he is in the country, it did not came into his mind that it could be Mike.
Sunshine saw Benji’s anxiety again. He started to behave as how he behaves the previous day. She knows that Mike’s presence still bothers him a lot. Benji is too quiet while they are on their way to Padre Burgos. Katrina noticed it too but she choose to just respect whatever Benji is going through.
Padre Burgos, Quezon
“Mauna na ako sa dressing room, nandyan na daw si Jasper eh. Thanks for the ride Benji” Katrina said and hurriedly stepped out of the car leaving Sunshine and Benji alone in the car.
“Sige na sunod ka na kay Katrina, ako na ang magdadala ng gamit mo sa dressing room” Benji said
“No, we are going there together. You are not my personal assistant to do that. Boyfriend kita and I want everyone to see that. Tayong dalawa ang magbibitbit ng gamit ko, hindi ikaw lang” Sunshine said.
Benji just smiles and said “Alright, sabi mo eh”
“Are you still upset?” Sunshine asked
“Upset? Of course not, why would I be?” Benji asked back
“Do you think I did not see it? Your mood changes when Tatay mentioned that Mike called him” Sunshine said.
