1. I have to thank everyone for their comments on the last post! You guys are the absolute best people in the world and I can't thank you enough for all of the sweet advice!
Thirdly, I really don't even have to reply to any negative comments. Seriously, why didn't I realize this before. lol
In fact, I find 99% of the hate comments quite amusing. But when something does personally attack me, my fans or loyal friends defend the story. And I get a kick out of watching five or ten people defend my story. Shit, that is one of the most awesome feelings in the world.
4. I haven't updated this or any of my other stories. People are complaining, consistently. I haven't been sleeping. No, l slept for two hours a night for six days straight and I did homework 24/7. Suprisingly, I was quite alert for not sleeping. I did crash on the sixth day and then I slept for ten hours.
Do you know that humans just lay there for eight hours a night, just wasting away. I want to become a robot, so I never have to sleep. Imagine If I could write for eight hours. I think that be a dream come true ; )
Oh so when people complain because I'm talking a while to update... I'm like really? It says on my page that I'm on break. And I think you know how to read or at least I hope you know how to read. And, you should be happy to wait for FREE updates. Damn, I hate having to pay $30.00 dollars for a book from my favorite author.
Speaking of Never Been Kissed..
Apparently, people think I'm quiting Never Been Kissed. They say, "Why are you being so ___? You need to continue the story."Please, fill in your favorite cuss word in the blank. They also say, "It's so mean to piss of you fans by quiting the story."
My favorite is, "You need to finish this story. Your being so selfish by letting your fans wait so long."
well, the entire story is going to be online for free. I'm not putting Never Been Kissed for sell because the story is special to me. And, I want to people to be able to read it for free. I might take it down after I finish it, so I can edit and then I put make a free PDF file for it. :)
I'm just waiting two weeks and then I'm going to update the story like crazy. People will have to hang on until then.
5. I decided on a release date for Marked By Brothers! And I know no one cares because not that many people want to buy the book. But this my writing journal, so I'll pretend that you all care. LMAO!!! So I think it will take me four months to re-write and edit the book. So, I looked up the 'best time to release a book'. I knew I couldn't finish it before summer, but I read the romance books are very popular during the holidays. I guess most popular like to curl in bed with a good romance
book ; ) . And yes, Smiley faces are not proffesional. But i like them so :) : ) : ) :) :) :)! Deal with it.
6. The other day, I flipped out on someone's story.
So, I have this good writer friend. I'm not telling you who. She works really hard to produce good stories and she writes this note "I'm sorry for the mistakes but I'm dyslexic."
And a ton of people personally attacked her for the mistakes and called her a bad writer. And it really discouraged her from posting again. Imagine reading comments like this.
"Oh, this is a horrible story! Why would you even post it?"
If someone post a negative comment about a mistake I've made, well that is one thing. It's likely that I didn't have enough time to edit or probably never re-read the chapter before posting. So, I might deserve that comment. But imagine having a physical disablity and having to re-read and re-read the story. And that physical disablity is a constant struggle. I'm not going to pretend I know what that is like.
To make mistakes is to be human. But seriously, what the fuck is that? How can you look in the at yourself mirror after putting someone down with a physical disablity.
Ugh, it just makes me sick.... :/
Oh what was fucking priceless was that their was a grammar mistake in their comment.
7.
Which brings my point. I'm not the best at taking harsh reviews but I'm trying to accept them and turn them into a postive thing. But sometimes people leave comments that are so bad that I can't read them. Once a while, I will get a one page review of the story and I kind of adore those. Yeah, I love it that someone took that much time to tell me how I can approve. But when you are saying something insulting, please write in the english language.
If I read your comment and I honestly can't understand you, then you need to go back to school. Thank you!
8. So you know.. I had a random thought the other day and you guys might think this is crazy. lol So, I read two vampire stories over the last week and I didn't particularly like them. It's like when I read a Young Adult Vampire story, the characters come off as whiny and they always copy plot lines from Twilight. But I read the stories because they were written by one of my favorite writers.
Anyway, I was thinking that technically vampires are not immortal. And they drink so much blood, but they never die. Hello, ever heard of HIV? Seriously, I'm sure drinking from a thousand people increases your chances of getting Aids. But yet, I've never seen a vampire contract Aids in a story. So one day I shall writer a really stupid short story: HIV HAS KILLED ALL OF THE VAMPIRES! Would you read it? I think not. lol
9. The best feeling in the world is when people tell you that your story has inspired them to write. It just doesn't get better than that. But people always tell me they want to write something similiar and I know they mean it as compliment. But I always tell them if you write something original, it will be so much better!
I LOVE YOUUUUUUUU XX And I have a book reviews and interviews that will come very soon!
10. Did anyone realize that #2 was missing?! :) If you did, then you are so smart!
