There is really only one thing you can do to raise or keep your current rank and is to update fast. If you update your story fast, you can complete with authors who have been on the site for years! Also, if you want to lower your rank and be higher on the What's Hot list, then write a controversial scene that will shock your readers. Readers love a good cliff hanger!!
