Creating Your Own Writing Space:
Don't pretend to write. Its likely that if you are responding to fan messages, reading a story, and writing at the same time that it's going to take you a long time to write a chapter. Sometimes, I think I spend too much time responding to messages or reading then actually writing. If you are not writing productively then you are wasting your time.
*Turn of the TV. If you keep on the TV, only use is as back ground music. Sit infront of your computer and do not have any internet bowsers open while you write.
*Write when you know you will have [very little] or no interruptions.
*Sit down and tell yourself that you will not leave that desk until you write a page or even three pages, if you're incredibly ambitious. Once you write the first page of two, it's easier to finish the chapter because the words begin to flow!
*Set a time: Write for thirty minutes or an hour. Tell yourself, "I'm going to write as much as I can for an hour."
