Shawn's fiancé knows about my pregnancy and he is doesn't. How could my day get better?

"Are you really going to talk to her?" Sky asks me as I get downstairs

"My heart says go and my head says stop. Guess who wins" I say , opening the living room's door only to see Chloe sitting on the sofa

Her engagement ring makes her hand glow . It's the best ring I have ever seen

She came into my house without a warning. I have to get the explanations needed. And Chloe will demand some answers from me too so I guess we are equal

"Hi Violet" Chloe says with a smile

I walk over the armchair and sit down , making myself comfortable. In the end ,it's my house, I can do whatever I wish

"Just spill the beans Chloe. I don't have time for you" I say with honesty. I really want to get over with her

"Okay , as you wish. Shawn and I are very happy that we are finally engaged. We are also planning our wedding. And out of sudden, you called him to tell him that you are pregnant" Chloe says , trying to make me feel bad for this pregnancy

"My pregnancy is none of your business. I can raise my kid on my own" I tell her

"Let me finish what I have to say. Shawn doesn't need kids right now. His career is in its heydays. And will always be. And now let me tell your something; would you really want to destroy my wedding with Shawn , his general image and your life by telling Shawn he is going to be a dad?" Chloe asks me with a serious note

I know where Chloe is taking this conversation too. And I'm willing to go there. She knows me well. We used to be friends. Not that close of a friend but we were in good speaking terms.

Having a baby should be the symbol of happiness, not the one of sadness . Like in this situation. If someone informs Shawn about the fact he is going to have a kid , only God knows what will occur

"I wanted him to know about this baby. It's his baby too. Thus, having a baby isn't as dramatic as you describe it" i say crossing my arms

"I just told you the truth. If Shawn finds out about the baby, everything will be as I previously said. And you will be the one to be blamed. But , cause I'm a sensitive person I have a suggestion" Chloe says , looking around the house

"And the suggestion is?"

"I know Shawn. I will visit you sooner or later. And he knows all the potential places you can go . But he will never search for you in New York city. Too many people. You understand" Chloe suggests

New York city? I barely know anyone there. Or own anything

"How am I supposed to live in New York city?" I ask her with a sarcastic laugh

"Here is the key for an apartment I have. You can live there as long as Shawn doesn't know anything. You will have a simple working position there as you finish your university studies. So are we in an agreement?" Chloe asks me

Is it worth it to leave everything behind me and start everything from scratch in New York city, with a baby ?

"Deal . But I can take with me whoever I want" I tell as a prerequisite

"Okay. You take take with you whoever you wish. Just let things be undercover" Chloe says getting up from the sofa

I lead her outside the house , where a driver is waiting for her. She gets into the car and waves me a goodbye. I just stand by the door frame and watch the car fade away

"Is it really worth it?" My dad asks me

He looks at me with disappointment . I don't know what to say to him. Before I could even utter , dad gets into his office and locks himself in there

Im a legit disappointment
