After I land in New York, the first thing I do is call Shawn to let him now that I'm going to Cole's house. He is at the studio with Art right now.

I knock on Cole's door and get in as soon as he opens the door. We are siblings, I don't even have to ask if I can come in

"I thought you were in Canada" He says , taking a sitting down on the sofa

"I guess I'm here now"

"Sister snapped" He jokes , rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand " Where's Art?" He asks confused

"He's in Canada with Shawn"

"Sky is coming over too. I'm going to make some tea first" Cole walking to the kitchen

My brother is a diva. After a couple of minutes, Sky walks into the apartment without even knocking and kicking her shoes off.

"What's up beautiful people" she says taking a seat next to me and then looking around " Where's Art?"

"He is in Canada with Shawn" I say again and she nods

"So what's up with you and Shawn?" Cole asks me , taking a sip from his tea

The real question is what's up with Cole and the tea

"We are just friends"

"Friends with benefits and a kid" Cole says

"Okay can we get back to the point?" I ask, trying to really get to the point

Sky nods as she reaches to get her phone from the coffee table. She seems to have something like a recording demo of her conversation with mom

Wow, dad indeed taught her a lot about how to be a lawyer

"I really think that we should meet up with mom" Sky says , looking at me with puppy eyes

"Well, I think we shouldn't" Cole says , looking away and acting like an angry toddler

Can they just agree on something for once?

"So, we are not going to talk about the fact that she knows our phone numbers and personal information? Like, how does she know that I am a mom? Or how does she know that both of you are single?" I question and both of them seem to be thinking of it

"Maybe dad told her" Sky says , shrugging her shoulders

"Dad isn't the crazy" Cole says , rolling his eyes in annoyance

"That's also a reason why we should go and meet up with her ; to ask her where the hell did she get our phone numbers. Plus, she is our mother" Sky says and the last sentence seems to have irritated Cole

He simply gets up , balling his fists and then walking out of the living room and into his room, making sure he slams the door as hard as he can. I stand up and walk to the room where Cole is. He seems angry and disappointed at the same time

"Mom cheated. That's why they broke up." Cole says. Wait, what?

"That's why you hate her"

"I don't hate her. It's just that I don't trust her. She cheated on dad, asked for a divorce, lied to us by telling us that ' they just didn't get along ' and then go away with the guy she cheated on dad" Cole explains

I can't believe mom cheated and left us for another guy. It just doesn't make sense

"You think that I'm okay with the fact that mom cheated and left us? Of course not. " Sky says , getting into the room

So it seems like I'm the only one who didn't know that mom cheated

"Then why do you want to meet up with her?" Cole asks her

"Because no matter what, she is our mom. She is coming to New York to meet us and if you two don't want to come , then it's fine. I can go by myself" Sky says. And she is being serious

Cole seems to be thinking of it. He surely doesn't want to see her.

"Fine, we will meet up with her. But, if she starts getting into my nerves, I will go home" Cole says , making himself clear
