I slowly get out of bed, trying not to wake up Shawn. The morning sunlight coming through the window shutters, lightens this dull motel room. I walk to the bathroom and wash my face. The leftover if my mascara imply that last night was a amazing night. And the black circles under my eyes as well.
"Good morning" Shawn says, grinning at me as I walk out of the bathroom
"Good morning" I say back, feeling my cheeks turn a light red color. I don't even know why.
"Nice shirt" Shawn says, smirking
I look down just to see that I'm wearing one of his shirts. I roll my eyes and give him as small laugh as he gets out of bed.
"Thanks" I ironically say, pulling the shirt down, trying to cover my thighs as i realize that im not wearing pants.
Shawn walks to the bathroom as i put on my jeans , which are laying on the floor next to the bed.I take off his shirt , even though i look cute on it and probably will add this shirt in my wardrobe, and put on mine.After shawn gets out of the bathroom and jokes about the fact that im wearing my shirt now, we get down to the reception to pay for our stay. We walk out of the hotel and the morning cold air greets us. We grab two cups of coffee and a cup of tea for cole on our way home.
"What's up with cole and tea?" Shawn asks me
"I don't know, he just loves tea. " I simply say, taking a sip from my coffee and holding the cup with both my hands
When we reach Shawn's apartment, he unlocks the door and we get in. Cole and Art are sitting on the sofa, watching an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. He reaches over to get the remove control and presses pause. He crosses his hands and looks at us.
Cole stands up and walks to the bedroom. I guess he wants to me follow him.
"I'm gonna be right back" I say, placing Cole's tea on the table and tickling Art before going into the bedroom.
And he seems to be pretty nervous. I take a deep breath, as I feel like Cole will give me a speech or something.
"Look, I'm sorry that I didn't call you or text you but last night was amazing." I say, smiling to myself
I look up to see that Cole is looking at the wall, rubbing his palms together nervously. I walk to him and sit down, rubbing his back gently
"What's wrong?" I ask him, raising an eyebrow
"Mom called me last night. She wants us to meet her family" Cole says.
"What do you mean her family?" I ask him raising an eyebrow
"Apparently, mom got married to another guy after she got divorced with dad and had two kids with that guy" Cole explains
"So, we have two half siblings?" I ask him, not believing in my ears
"Yeah and mom wants us to meet each other since we are siblings." Cole says , standing up
He opens the bedroom's and walks out as Shawn walks in. He gives me a confused look and sits down next to me
"What's wrong?" Shawn asks me
"I just found that a) mom is married to another guy and b) that I have to half siblings"
