Andrew and Shawn's squad are on the other side of the room. Chloe and her mom are nowhere to he seen.
"Shawn Mendes is here with us today, to talk about his new single, which was released a few hours ago , go buy and steam it guys. We are going to talk about his upcoming album and tour and many more. Hi Shawn, it's nice to see you " The interviewer , John ,says.
"I'm happy to be here. " Shawn says with a wide smile , looking at me and Art
"So, Shawn. Let's talk about Madison Square Garden" The interviewer says.
"Yes. I remember performing there for the first time , back in 2016. Same feeling again. It's amazing " Shawn says
"The concert was sold out in just seconds. Wow. That's a big achievement. Congrats Shawn . Now, while performing , you said something about your son? Excuse me , but I'm shook. I mean, everyone is shook right now" The interviewer says
Same dude , same.
"Yes. Art. It's a very complicated story. ' What if I told you a story ' is also a song I wrote a few years ago , for his mom and now , I decided to change the song a little bit and eventually release it." Shawn says
I didn't even know that ' WIITYAS ' is about me
The interview goes on , Shawn talking about his new album which will come soon and about releasing singles and not an actual album
Things seem to be going pretty good.
"We know that you are engaged to Chloe and that you two are relationship goals. When did Chloe find out about Art?" The interviewer asks
Oh shit, oh shit , oh shit
"Chloe knew about Art. I didn't. As I previously said, things are pretty messed up. Sometimes, people who you trust, hurt you. " Shawn says
Shawn is truly hurt. I feel so bad. Shit.
I pick Art up and start walking out of the studio. Maybe I should go home and let Shawn and Chloe work things out .
As soon as I walk out , a few people start taking photos of me and Art immediately , starts smiling to everyone. That's my boy.
Here's a confession ; I know that Shawn doesn't love me. I mean, he used to love me. That's why he got engaged to Chloe. He still loves Chloe. I'm just the woman who gave birth to his son.
I decide to take a taxi ; I'm not that crazy to walk home. After a few minutes, we reach home. I feel like staying in PJs all day and eating ice cream.
"When will dad come here?" Art asks me
"I don't know baby" I say, sitting next to him and playing with his toys
"Mom?" Art asks with his sweet , little , baby voice
"Yes?"
"Why does dad love another woman?" Art asks me
"You are still a little baby, and you can't understand some things. But you will , when you grow up" I say , looking at him
After a few minutes, someone knocks on the door. I get up and open the door. And it's Shawn. He doesn't say anything. Just hugs me . I know , Art is fan girling right now . Or fan boying.
We let go and Shawn walks in the apartment and I close the door.
"Where's Chloe?" I ask him
"I don't know. Probably back to the hotel. I will go there later. I don't feel like talking to her about this whole situation right now. I just want to get some fresh air " Shawn says
"Well an apartment isn't the best place to get some fresh air" I state
"I know but we need to talk" Shawn says
