A whole month had passed in the blink of an eye. You were obviously still grieving but everyday without Bucky was getting easier. Even if it was just a little bit. You and Steve helped each other along and Steve was finally able to show his emotions to someone about loosing his best friend again.
The whole team were always there for you as well. Nat and Wanda were constantly telling you the gossip you missed out on and always made you join in on girls night with Pepper.
Tony and Bruce always invited you to the lab so you could help with the machinery. Your brilliant hearing and eyesight always came in handy, and it meant free meals.
Clint had called a few times to invite you round anytime you felt like you needed a get a way. You thanked him and of course agreed you'd meet him soon.
Sam constantly asked you for dating advice, which was strange since Nat was more likely to be helpful with that. But you enjoyed it nonetheless.
And vision was always telling you if your favourite celebrity was on television since he had remembered you liked them and thought it would make you feel better.
Like I said, everyday was getting easier, especially with the help of your friends.

"This face mask smells like gone off milk." Wanda commented as Nat plastered it to her face. You smiled and continued to eat your crisps. Lately you couldn't stop eating.
"Maybe it is." Nat smirked as she continued to smear it. When she finished she sat back so she could see you and Wanda. You had formed a small circle on the living room floor and quiet music was playing in the background. "So, any news?" She looked at both of you, awaiting a reply.
"Vision keeps trying to use Tony's way of flirting. It's hilarious but kind of sweet." Wanda commented, smiling to herself about her love interest. You cooed and continued to eat.
Nat smirked as she turned to you. "What about you, (Y/N)? Anything to share?" You furrowed your eyebrows and shrugged.
"No, why would I?" Nat was going to mention how close you were to Steve, but then remembered the recent passing of your boyfriend.
"Just wondered, is all." She said casually, moving on to talk about how funny it was to see Bruce grow nervous around her earlier that morning.

You had to see Bruce. He was a doctor and that was exactly what you needed. He might be able to understand what's wrong with you.
You knocked on his door and waited patiently for him to answer. He poked his head out, Tony's music now even more audible. When he saw you, he opened the door more so you could come in. "Hi." He simply greeted.
"Hi." You awkwardly copied. You saw Tony and bit your lip.
"What brings you to the lab today?" He smiled, walking back over to his desk with all his equipment and sheets.
"I need to talk to you." You fumbled with your fingers to try and stop them shaking.
"Fire away." Tony smiled. You looked at him and shook your head.
"I need to talk to Bruce...In private." Bruce looked a little taken back at your request. Tony's face dropped and he looked between the two of you.
After a few seconds of silence he finally spoke. "No, it's fine. I'll leave my lab that I had built for me." He grumbled, walking away as he sulked.
As Tony left Bruce turned you. "Is everything alright?" You shook your head and took a seat on one of the stools.
"I've been sick for two months now. I keep throwing up and I don't know why." Bruce nodded and placed the back of his hand to your head.
"Well, no temperature. Do you feel unwell? Fatigue? Aches? Dizziness?" You shook your head to each one. He nodded again and picked up a notepad, writing down your situation. "Okay, and..."he hesitated. "Last period?" He asked awkwardly, not daring to look up at you. You would've laughed if you weren't in this state of worry.
You hadn't even realised your period. You were so caught up in your grief and being with Steve that it slipped your mind. "Two months ago." You croaked. He wrote it down. Things started to click in your head and you didn't like where this was going.
Bruce sighed and finally looked at you. "I think you should invest in a pregnancy test."
