It's so nice to see so many people like this book so here's a chapter. Sorry I don't post as much anymore but college is so hectic at the minute.

Everyone had resided to their rooms, even Dorothy. This meant you and Steve were left on the sofa in the late hours of the night.
Your legs were drawn over his, his hand resting softly on top of them.
As the TV played quietly, you observed Steve. This was the only time you'd be able to just have him to yourself for the next few days. After all, Christmas was only two days away.
"Honey?" You said gently. His head turned towards you, a tired smile resting on his lips.
"Yeah?" He nearly whispered. You could've just left this for the morning. He did seem exhausted. But again, you wouldn't know when you two would be alone again.
You hesitated for a moment, sitting up properly. "Do you want a drink of anything?"
"Yeah. How about I make us some coco?" He offered.
"You know I can make that." You pointed out.
"I know. But you've been so busy all day." He mumbled, getting up and pecking you quickly.
You watched him as he wondered around the kitchen and you're not sure how it really happened. It just slipped out.
"Steve?" He hummed a reply. "I'm pregnant."

Nat and Sam were huddled together in his room, a cheesy Christmas film playing as he ran his fingers through her fiery hair.
Just as sleep invaded his body, he heard the most almighty crash from the kitchen.
Both him and Nat were up in a flash, racing to get to the source as Thor followed.
What they saw was unexpected.
You were stood next to the sofa as Steve quickly picked up pieces of broken china, shaking and smiling like a mad man.
"Sorry guys. Go back to bed." Thor peered over at Nat and Sam before walking away.
"How did you drop them? You're the least clumsy person here." Sam asked with an expression that could only be read as unimpressed.
"Not true. Think about how many times he falls over on mission." Nat retorted.
Sam pondered on it. "True." Nat smiled at you before dragging Sam with her towards his room.
You turned to Steve and smiled sheepishly. As he placed the broken mugs on the side, he bit his lip to try and stop his smile tearing his face in two.
He turned to you and strode quickly, stopping just before he reached you. "You're pregnant?"
You nodded. "How many tests did you take this time?" He asked cheekily.
"Three." You answered whilst suppressing giggles.
He laughed shortly before pulling you closer to him. "We're going to have a baby." He still seemed stunned.
"I heard the second child is always the naughtiest. We're gonna have our hands full, Rogers." He nodded as he grinned.
"I can't wait...and speaking off," he reached into his back pocket and drew something out. "It's kind of lucky I had this on hand, right?" He let his hand reveal a thin silver ring with a single stone in the middle.
You didn't say anything.
"I know it's not much and it's not in a box, but I wasn't planning on doing it here." You turned back to him quickly.
"Doing what?" You asked in confusion.
Before you could register it, he had moved down on to one knee, smiling up at you. You took in a small inhale of breath, covering your mouth.
"(Y/N), I've loved you since the day we played hide and seek in the vents. I've waited what feels like an eternity to show you the love I have for you. Will you marry me, and let me continue to show that love for the rest of eternity?" He held such hope in your eyes that made a lump form in your throat.
"Steve..." You choked, tears spilling from your eyes. His hope soon turned to worry.
"Is this not a good time? Do you not want to get married?" He got up quickly. "If not that's okay. I just thought, well we've been together for a while and I'd like to spend my life with you but we can do that without marriage-"
You cut him off by pushing your lips onto his. He let out a noise of surprise before putting his hands on your waist.
You pulled back and smiled. "Of course I want to marry you." You sobbed happily.
He choked. "Yeah? Is that, is that a yes?" You nodded and wiped your eyes. "Oh thank god." He breathed, finally placing the ring on your finger. "I wouldn't know what I'd do if you said no."
"Why would I say no? I'm literally carrying your child." He bit his lip again. "Are you trying to suppress a squeal?"
"I can't help it."
