Dorothy had loved pre-school and couldn't wait to go back the next day. This was Good although the selfish part of you wished she had missed you.
After you had put her to bed later that night, you sat at your desk and continued the paper work the team had given you. It was all the dirty work that had to be done after missions and since you weren't allowed on them anymore, this is how you contributed.
You heard the door to the office open and close and Steve's heavy footsteps getting closer to you.
His hand lifted your hair behind your ear before he placed a gently kiss on your cheek. "It's getting late." He muttered, placing both hands either side of you on the desk so he was leaning over you.
"I'll be done soon." You sighed, not breaking away from the pages. You were right. You only had three pages left.
"Can't they be done tomorrow?" You asked with a slight optimism in his voice.
"No. Tomorrow we're meeting with Nat and Sam, remember?" You finally lifted you head and turned slightly to look at him.
He nodded glumly before pecking your lips and standing up straight. "I'll see you soon then." He smiled before opening the door.
"Don't you dare stay up and wait for me." You called after him.
"Just you try and stop me." He called back.
You laughed and carried on.

"All done." You sighed as you walked into your room. Steve was leaning against the headboard, book in hand and pyjamas on. "What you reading?" You asked while taking out some pyjamas from your draw.
He looked at the cover and then to you. "Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets."
You smiled at him as you took your top and trousers off. "You've already read the first one?"
He shrugged and put his bookmark in between the current pages. "I like them. Plus you always said how much you loved them so."
You smiled warmly at him. You stepped quickly towards him and planted a soft kiss on his lips. "You're so sweet, Steve."
He drew you back into another kiss, hand holding your face in place by resting softly on your neck.
When Steve threw his book to the side you realised this wasn't stopping anytime soon and knelt on the bed. You were surprised to feel Steve's hands move to the back of your thighs, pulling you to straddle his waist.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and leaned into him, the kiss becoming more hungry as the seconds went by.
His hands gripped your hips eagerly as his lips worked brilliantly against yours.
You involuntarily bucked your hips against his earning a small groan from Steve, his hands pushing your hips down onto him and making you gasp.
His lips trailed down your jaw to your neck and to just below your ear. You ran your hands through his hair in response and moving your hips again and whining at how good the friction felt.
You rejoined your lips as you continued to grind against him painfully slow.
"Mommy!" The loud crying caused you both to stop and listen to your daughter cry from her room.
You closed your eyes and sighed before climbing off of Steve and walking towards the door, not daring to look back at him.

"Im glad she's enjoying it, but I kind of wanted to see her." Nat said from opposite you, Sam nodding in agreement.
"You can see her soon. To be honest it's nice to have a few hours of quiet to get work done." You admitted, smiling at Steve.
Sam smirked and looked to Natasha. "I bet you get a whole lot of work done." He mused, wiggling his eyebrows slightly.
Remembering the events of last night, both you and Steve avoided looking at each other, and anything else for that matter, except the brunch in front of you.
"You do...work don't you?" Nat asked quietly. You took a deep breath and finally looked at her.
"That's not your concern." Your voice shook. Suddenly Sam let out a loud laugh.
"Jesus Christ, you two haven't screwed yet? You've been dating for a month and had sexual tension for what? Three years?" He looked at Nat who nodded.
"Sam." Steve said in that authoritarian voice that he always did when Sam stepped out of line.
Sam held his hands up but laughed nonetheless. "I just can't believe it man. Are you waiting till marriage?" He leaned forward in his chair.
You looked over at Steve and then quickly to Nat. "...We just don't have time." You offered.
Both Sam and Nat looked at you both, squinting their eyes. Steve sighed and continued to eat. He was fairly quiet at the minute.

You placed your bag on the counter, your eyes trained on Steve, as they had been all the way home. Something was definitely wrong. "Okay. Spill." You said as you leant against the side of the worktop.
Steve turned around looking startled. "Spill what?" He acted as if he had no clue on what you were talking about.
"Why haven't we had sex yet? You seem off about the subject." You decided that being forward might help in this case.
He sighed, his shoulders dropping as he did. He sat down at the table. "I...I don't have a lot of experience." He said with all the confidence he could muster.
You feel silent for a little while before smiling softly. You strode towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Steve...it's okay if you're a virgin." You said softly, still smiling.
"What?" He turned to face you quickly. "No. No I'm not a virgin. I've had sex." He was quick to defend himself, your smile dropping. "It's just, it hasn't happened for a while and I love you." He came closer towards you so he could pull you closer. "I want our first time to be good and I'm scared I'll mess it up or it'll end too soon on my behalf." You could see this was really troubling him and it made your heart melt.
"Sweetie, our first time doesn't have to be perfect. In fact it probably won't be. It normally takes couples a few tries until they find out what the other likes." You places your hands on his shoulders gently as you explained.
"I know but-"
"But nothing, Rogers. We have all the time in the world to get it right. I'd just be happy to be that intimate with you." You admitted and it seemed to calm him down.
He breathed out before smirking. "Couple I'd tries huh?" You smiled goofily at him. He checked his watch and looked as if he was contemplating something. "I suppose I could squeeze in one or two tries." You giggled up at him but it quickly turned into a short squeal as you were lifted on to his waist.
