The next day I didn't want to feel so alone, so I called Calum. "Hello?" His voice was groggy and I could tell I woke him up. "Do you want to hang out later?" I asked. In the background i could hear a girl whine "Calum, come back to bed." I had finally had proof that Calum's girlfriend was actually real and not imaginary. "Give me a minute," he yelled back, "listen Luke, i can't today. Sorry, maybe next week?" I then just hung up because there was no use in trying to hang out because he obviously doesn't give a shit about me.

I then called ashton. We'd talked before, but never hung out. I was extremely desperate for human interaction and Tuesday was just - no.
"Hello?" It wasn't Ashton though, "Is Ashton there by any chance." I said quietly. "Luke?" He asked. "Do I know you." He sighed. "It's Michael." He sounded different on the phone. Like a whole different person.  "Ashton left his phone here. What'd you need?" I was contemplating whether or not to tell him, but I did anyways, " i wanted to know if he would hang out, but it's fine. Um, have a nice day. Bye." I paused just long enough to hear michael say, "Wait, meet me at the bridge, okay?" Without thinking twice, I replied okay and hung up.

I got dressed into a tank top and some jeans. I headed out my car and began to drive to the bridge from memory. I'd never noticed that bridge until yesterday and I found that a bit weird. I arrived at about 12:30. He was already there. He was sitting on a bench in a Green Day shirt and black jeans with his black converse. He's probably burning hot right now which made me laugh a little. He must be desperate to be an emo. Which also made me laugh.

I walked up to him. "Hey." I smiled and waved. "Hi." He stood up and we began to walk.
