"babe, it's christmas." I woke up to a hazy luke. I smiled at him and sat up. He pecked me on my temple and took a seat next to me.

From my room i could smell pancakes and see a small box wrapped with a bow.

It had been around a week since my mom had passed away. i still was grieving, but not as much, luke had calmed me down.

i put aside my remaining saddness and threw on a smile for luke. i kissed him passionatly and lifted an eyebrow at the gift.

"Open it!" he had a large smile and was obviously eager to see my reaction. i wanted to annoy him so i slowly unwrapped it.

he rolled his eyes and snatched the box out of my hands. he frantically ripped the wrapping paper off until there was only a white box.

he handed it to me and i opened it. it was a key. A small golden/copper key that could fir in my pocket.

"luke?" i said excitedly. he smiled, "michael gordon clifford, will you move in with me?"

"luke, i don't think your mom would feel comfortable with me living in a house with her and her son." he laughed. "i mean at my new home. i moved a little less than a week ago."

I froze. This was the biggest decision of my life. Should i move in with the love of my life? I thought for a minute and it was silent.

"michael, i know we've only been dating for a few months, but i feel like we should. i love you, you love me-" i cut him off in the middle of his sentence.

"luke don't sing barney unless you would like me to beat the shít out of you." he laughed. "so if i say yes, we move in together?"

"yes, so what do you say?" He smiled nervously. " why wouldn't i say yes?"
