"Michael," Luke said looking into my eyes, "marry me." I laughed. "I'm serious." He said looking a bit upset. "I know you are, but is that how you're going to propose. The second time has to be better and I don't know how you could possibly beat the first. It was pretty romantic." I walked away into the kitchen of our new apartment. He didn't chance after me as I began to make a sandwich.

I mow had to find a way to propose to michael. It had to be spectacular and romantic because I was the reason we called off the first wedding even though I proposed. I took out a notepad and began to write ideas:
• lighthouse proposal
visit the lighthouse and then propos
• gay proposal lol
Propose with a gay pride flag behind me
• champagne proposal - in public
go to a resturant and propos with a ring in the champagne
I settled on the champagne one because i know he likes classic romance movies. He always got happy at the proposal parts and I knew he'd like it.
"Hey," I said walking into the kitchen, "dinner, fancy restaurant, 8:00pm." He laughed and swallowed his food, "okay?" He then continued eating his sandwich.
I went up stairs and took out the ring I'd been hiding for a while. It was mine and I had found michaels the other day in his drawer.
I was ready.
I am ready.
