Dustin's POV

Steve grinned suavely at me and I just chuckled.

"What're we learning today?"

Steve glanced over at me then back at the road, "How to talk to girls."

I grinned, "Something I need."

Steve smiled, "It's something we all need tiger."

Steve drove faster through the mostly empty town, since everybody was at work. He made a few rights and a few lefts. Soon, we pulled into the large shed we had found in the woods. Steve had asked the owner if he could use it once a week. And he said yes. So that's how I'm here.

I hopped out of the car, walking to the shed.

I opened it, greeted by the smell of hairspray and melted nougat.

Steve walked in behind me, turning on the overhead light.

He sat on a chair near a blackboard that had five numbers on it.

"Okay Dusty. What's rule number one?"

I also sat, "Look the part."

"Good!" He put a checkmark next to the number one that was already on the board, "Two?"

"Act like you don't care."

"Yes!"

"Rule three is...um...oh yeah! Rule three is to show off but make sure they don't know that you're trying to impress them."

"Oh my god! My MAN! You are on fire!"

"Number four. Once you get them, sweet talk them. Make them feel flattered. Make sure there isn't room for other guys."

Steve was nodding in satisfaction.

"Five is to show your real side."

"But make sure they still think you're tough. We wouldn't want steps 1-4 going to waste now would we?"

I nodded enthusiastically.

Steve stood and went to a little cabinet that he had set up. It read 'Lesson Plans'. He pulled out a binder and started flipping through it.

"Okay, for today's lesson we have section 4 on How To Look The Part."

I smiled as I started taking notes.

Mike's POV

Will waved goodbye when we got to The Field. Lucas smiled, his eyes lingering on Max. Lucas left with him since they were gonna do something together for the rest of the day.

Max walked beside me with a slight smile on her face.

"What's with the smile, Ginger?" I poked the dimple on her right cheek.

She looked up at me, "I don't know. I'm just happy."

"You mean Lucas looked totally tubular today," I said it in a surfer voice.

Max's laugh filled the space around us with a pleasant melody, "You could say that." She smiled again, "It's just really nice to have all of us together apart from Dustin."

My face fell. Max noticed and realized why, "And Eleven."

I shook my head, "I know you don't like her."
