Mike's POV

My eyes fluttered open, darkness meeting me. Eleven was laying practically on top of me, her head on my chest and her hand in my hair. My smile was so wide that it hurt my face.

I slid my hand away from her so that I could check my watch. I squinted at the lit up square, reading 3:14 AM.

It was early. Dustin was laying a few feet from me, his blankets all tangled around his arms and his face was covered, only curly hair peeking out. Will was peacefully sleeping, his hair in place and his blankets covering him up to his neck.

I smirked, looking at Max and Lucas curled up together. The two of them were laying next to each other, not quite as close as El and I were. Their hands were loosely intertwined, Max's head leaning slightly on Lucas's shoulder.

I glanced back at the beautiful girl sleeping on top of me. Her back rose and fell slowly, peacefully. Her eyelids rested delicately over her chocolate eyes, adding to her tranquil expression. Her lips were curved in a slight "o", air puffing in and out. I watched as her breathe moved strands of golden hair from around her soft face.

"El," I whispered almost silently, making sure only she could hear me.

Her eyes twitched, her mouth closing slightly. I almost chuckled at how adorable she looked, "El. El," I muttered louder this time, putting my rosy lips to her small ear.

Her eyes finally opened, the beautiful cocoa orbs meeting mine. She blinked multiple times, looking around, familiarizing her surroundings.

"Mike," She stated, looking at me curiously.

I smiled up at her, her face about 2 inches from mine. For a moment, I forgot the reason I had woken her up from her peaceful slumber. I was taken by her, completely mesmerized.

I leaned up, pressing my lips against hers. I pulled away quickly, making El frown.

"Mike...what-"

I shook my head, "Shhh. I want to show you something."

Sliding her small body off of my abdomen, I got up quietly. I put my hand out, pulling her up with me. We tiptoed towards the door, El looking confused. She would understand soon enough.

I turned the knob, shutting the door noiselessly as possible. El and I stepped into the warm June air, our bare feet feeling the dew on my driveway.

I rotated to face her. I took her hands, feeling her warmth meet mine in perfect harmony, "Look up."

She looked at me weirdly but proceeded to glance up at the clear sky. She gasped, in awe of the millions of stars cluttering the black abyss above us. I knew she would love them. The trees blocked the stars at the cabin, making it almost impossible to get a good view of the sky. She was missing out on something I knew would be one of her favorite things.

She let go of my hands, spinning around to get every perspective possible to view the galaxies above her. I watched her contently, seeing the look of astonishment glowing in her eyes. She loved them, I could feel it. It was just enough to look at her, I didn't need the stars. I had all the beauty I could ever want right in front of me. There was no need to look up. For she was my stars, my sky, my universe. My little galaxy was more breathtaking than the millions of glowing orbs surrounding me.

El was laughing now, the sound singing to me. She looked to me, her eyes full of tears. She held out her hand, inviting me to pull her close. I spun her into my chest, wrapping my bare arms around her.

"Thank you Mike," she nuzzled her face into my chest, trying to get as close as possible.

I rested my chin on her head, kissing her hair softly. We stood, arms around each other, in complete silence. Together, we admired the stillness of the night, only far away cars and our heartbeats could be heard.

Will's POV

I could hear them whispering to each other. Their voices were so hushed that I couldn't make out what they were saying.

My eyes remained closed, hearing Mike and Eleven stand together. It sounded like they were walking to the door.

My guess was proved true as I listened to Mike close the door. My eyes opened as soon as I heard the click of the heavy door. They had been surprisingly quiet knowing how light a sleeper Lucas was. And he was still conked out.

I glanced over at the chocolate boy, smirking as I realized what was going on. He and Max. I shook my head, chuckling to myself.

Turning from them, I got up myself. I sauntered over to the window, sitting on the black ottoman that was nestled there.

El was spinning in the driveway, looking up at the sky, her hair flowing in circles as she twirled. I almost "awed" while watching Mike. He wasn't looking at the stars or even at his surroundings. He was staring at her. Only her. He looked mesmerized and in awe of El in the same way she was amazed by the glowing dots above her.

He was absolutely allured and in love with her. I knew this already, but hadn't seen him heart eyes before their reunion today. This scene that was before me was a perfect representation of how Mike felt about Eleven.

El seemed to be signalling something to Mike and he pulled her close to him. I hadn't realized that there was such a significant height difference. El was about 3 or more inches shorter than Mike.

I watched as they embraced, Mike kissing El's head tenderly.

In that moment, I missed Lauren. Seeing the two lovebirds together made me realize that I hadn't seen her for what felt like a long time.

I smiled to myself, knowing that with school finally over, I would be able to see her a lot.

Hopefully very soon.
