Will
"Who's Nique?" I asked, swinging in through Nico's window.
Nico demeanour changed. For the first time I'd seen him relax both physically and what seemed like emotionally. But as soon as he saw me his face dropped back into his usual scowl.
It's suppose to be the other way round. Right?
I repeated my question, slightly more irritated.
Nico simply just acted as if he couldn't hear or see me.
"You wanna play the ignoring game then?" I questioned, whilst taking off my beaded bracelet and walking slowly to him. He raised his eyebrow and turned around to not face me.
If there was one thing I knew about Nico, it was that he is ticklish as heck. He was literally ticklish everywhere if I wanted on answer, I was going to have turn to drastic measures.
I threw the bracelet at the wall as hard as I could and watched Nico look up for a brief second, letting his guard down.
Ha! Noob.
"What the-" I tackled Nico to the floor and tickled him mercilessly. At first Nico was trying to stifle his giggles but by the time I was done he was wheezing for air.
"Let... go. You-" Nico gasped whilst closing his eyes tightly, not able to finish his sentence.
This was fun.
I continued to tickle him until he was not longer laughing, just yelping. As fun as it was becoming, I decided to leave him alone. Besides, I had a question that was in need of answering.
"Stop!" He cried, attempting to whack my arms away.
"Fine." I said, dragging my hands away from his neck. Breathing in relief, he started to move away. Before I sat on him, that is.
Nico yelled at me in a mixture of Italian and English but I got the gist of what he was saying to me.
"Don't swear at me, young man. That was for leaving me dangling from a palm tree," I readjusted. "Now, let's make this easy; You tell me who Nique is and I'll get off"
Nico struggled underneath me, continuously cursing, but ultimately not answering my question.
Is that how he wanted to play it? I thought.
I leaned in towards his ear, pouting as I did.
"What- what do you want?" He breathed, his face heating up.
I mean, it got his attention.
"Are you going to leave me for some other guy?" I moped, whispering into his ear.
"Per l'amor di cazzo!" He sighed. "For starters, she's not a he."
Surprised, I looked up at him, causing me to lose balance, giving Nico the opportunity to escape from underneath me. He glared at me, me being able to read clearly that I should never ever trap him again.
I, Will Solace, always believed that rules were a myth.
"Nique is not a guy?" I enquired, stunned.
"Nope."
"So Nique is female?"
"Yes, and also known as Dominique," he stated, pointed at the bathroom.
Alarm bells went off in my head! Dominique! The girl that made a trap like I was some animal.
