Two chapters in three days! I know. Weird, right?

The car ride to the Airport was probably the most awkward thing, I have ever had to sit through, for numerous reasons.
1. The hostility from both Annabeth and Percy. Now, I'm no expert on relationships, considering I've never really had a proper one, but, even me and my virgin self could tell that something was up with the both of them.
For starters, Percy sat next to Dominique at the back, which sucked in the first place, because I wanted to sit next to her. Instead, I had to wedge on the other side of Percy, so I could join in their conversation. Whilst Jason, looked like he wanted to shoot himself in the mouth, as Annabeth blabbed onto him about her smart people stuff.
2. Jason must have decided, that the environment wasn't bad enough. He added gas to the fire by initiating a game of truth or dare, which I obviously had to partake in. It would have been OK, he didn't decide to ask me if I liked anyone at the moment, after I stupidly picked truth instead of dare.
Of course, I dumbly hesitated and received an eyebrow wiggle from Percy, which caused me to blush like mad and say no. Dominique gave me a hurt look and swapped places with Percy, claiming she got 'car sick'.
And anytime, I tried to talk to her the entire trip, she'd either give me quick, sassy answers or ignore me altogether, until I finally gave up
3. Coach Hedge playing horrendous songs from centuries ago. In fact, never mind 'songs' is plural. Let me rephrase that.
He was playing the same centuries old song over and over again, on repeat and singing along to it, whilst dancing, without any rhythm whatsoever. Of course, we were forced to watch the horror show unfold.
4. The last reason. We were all so fucking tired. It was actually 3:50 in the morning and we had a flight at 5:35, so you kinda couldn't expect a group of teenagers to be particularly psyched. The occasional loud yawn or complaint about being tired definitely added to the awkward situation already at hand.
Anyway, after about an hour on the road, we finally arrived at the JFK International airport, unloaded our bags and waved Coach Hedge a good bye. By that I meant, everyone else waved him a good bye and I left him a little goodbye surprise in his glove box. I hope he liked
We were about to walk into the airport, when Annabeth called us all back to the car park.
"Here are your tickets," She said passing out all tickets, everyone except Percy. Instead, she handed me two and told me to pass one along to Percy. "Remember the name on there."
"Erm... Annabeth," Dominique said sounding confused. "What kind of name is this? Freedom Swampy- Brown? Really?"
The caused all of us to look down and read our tickets. Dominique was right. There were some wacky names on the tickets.
"Actually, Yeah. What's with the names?Gemini Thompson?" Jason asked raising an eyebrow at Annabeth.
"Jeffersonian Washington? You've got be kidding me." Percy read pulling a face at her.
I read mine and actually cringed. "Barnabas Wilcox?"
Annabeth just shrugged, whilst smirking at us before turning to enter the airport.
"I don't what your talking about." She turned back around to face us. " I got Abigail Jones."
We sighed before laughing, realising, how badly we'd be played. I had to commend her. It was job very well done.
