Will and strolled up the sandy path, leading to Vergel's house, dragging our luggage with us.

Well, Will dragged his backpack whilst I accommodated my luggage and Nico's ridiculously heavy bags as well, whilst he spoke to Vergel.

Anyway, as we walked up the path, the only thing I could hear was the faint voices of Nico and Vergel, suggesting we were still pretty far ahead.

I wonder what they were talking about, that was so private, it prevented Nico from carrying his own bags?

Will had to be wonder the same thing, right? I couldn't be the only one.

"What'd you think they're discussing back there?" I asked, stopping to sit on a boulder not far off the path.

Will come over and sat on the ground next to the boulder but didn't speak for a while instead he ran his hands through his golden locks. He looked worried.

"A drachma for your thoughts?"

He continued to stare blankly towards the calm sea before mumbling something.

I almost didn't hear him, but obviously did because um... Bad Boy Supreme?!

"Just because we're half Greek, doesn't mean we have to change every saying to match our heavenly heritage. We can speak normally."

"I heard that," I replied, shoving him gently.

"Evidently," he smiled, before shoving me back and standing up so he was no longer in my reach.

The silence returned and the worried look returned to Will's face as he played with his beaded bracelet.

The silence lingered, until I stood up. "Seriously, what's wrong? You look like you've just watched someone die."

Will simply sighed, strolled over to collect his bags before starting on the path again. I quickly collected mine and Nico's things and fell into step beside him.

After about ten minutes of walking and absolutely no talking, we arrived at a small beach home.

"I guess this Vergel's," I stated, dumping our bags on the bright blue porch and sitting on one of the steps.

I looked out into the distance and realised the golden sands and sapphire seas were not the entirety of the island.

We were currently sitting lay at the foot of a small mountain, surrounded by a dense forest.

It didn't look like there was anything else on the island except from the mountain, sand, water, a forest and ...more water.

And Vergel stayed here, alone.

I started to feel really bad for him. I mean, it's a beautiful island, don't get me wrong,  but it wouldn't have been nicer if he had someone to share it with.

My thoughts were interrupted by Will banging on about something.

"I feel like something bad is gonna happen on this quest," he uttered, staring at his feet.
