Another raw chapter x once again if it's trash I'll have it edited later but for now enjoy my trash chapter xx
Annabeth
I was the first person to leave the meeting. As soon as, it was over I kinda just sprinted out, so I could wait for Connor, Percy and Dominique outside.
We needed to discuss our game strategy if we wanted to make the most of this quest and, you know, not die.
As I sat, waiting for them I pulled out the small bit of paper, the prophecy was written on and read it again.
This had to be one of the most intense prophecies I've heard in years, i think. There is literally twelve of us going on this quest, we have to travel to two separate continents and might die whilst doing so. I was definitely not looking forward to it; but our parents will be in severe danger if we do not get it, so I guess we have no choice.
It's also a bit weird, how Dominique chose me to join be in her group. I guess we're cool, now. Maybe it's time I told everyone what actually happened. Just to clear the air, I guess. I guess I start with Percy. He is my boyfriend after all.
My thoughts we're interrupted abruptly, by a someone blocking the sun in front of me, with their shadow. I looked up, to see Percy, looking down on me. He reached out his hand, which I took, and pulled me up.
"What were you doing?" he asked pulling me to my feet.
"Nothing, just thinking about the quest," I smiled putting my arms around the back of his neck, whilst he's hands found its way to the small of my back. I leaned in to kiss him but he pushed his head back before pulling away from me completely.
"What's wrong?" I asked. He almost never rejects a kiss, in fact, he's normally ecstatic when he gets the chance to kiss me and now he's pulling way?
Dominique ran in, with Connor close behind, before Percy had the opportunity to answer.
"GUYS, GUESS WHAT?!" she squealed excitedly, bouncing up and down on the spot.
"What?" Percy smiled, detaching himself from me and moving to Dominique's side.
"We're going to Hawaii!" Jason screamed, whilst running toward Percy and tackling him to the ground, laughing.
This caused Percy to scream loudly and Dominique and Connor to basically die of laughter. Everyone was laughing, except me.
Percy basically just rejected me and is now laughing as if nothing happened. Two could play that game.
"The only problem is we have to travel by flight, which is really risky. You know, being walking monster magnets," Jason as he got up the from the ground and faced me. " Besides, I doubt we'll be able to get flight tickets to Hawaii for tomorrow. It's summer that will be impossible."
"Not if I have anything to do with it," I stated leaning on arm on Jason's shoulder. He shot me a confused look, but didn't move, thank the Gods. "I'll just get in the system and add our names to the register."
"I don't think we can add our real names, you never know who will be on that flight, and Hazel's not here to manipulate the mist, so, it'll be better if we just use fake names," Connor pointed out. "We cannot use Percy's name especially. He's too hated, by, well everyone."
