After being verbally abused by a certain someone *cough* *cough* Xx_CAOI_xX , I've come to the conclusion that I've neglected this book and will be updating regularly again. SORRY! But we're almost on 1k reads! MAUD! Ty x.

I watched as Cece bounded through the trees, shaking ground whilst she ran towards us.
"Who activated Cece's stalker mode?" I heard Leo laugh from behind me.
I turned around to face him before scowling at him.
"No one actually," I retorted. "Cece has a sensory function which enables her to sense wherever Vergel is in danger."
He held up his hand in surrender before walking over to where Vergel was stroking Cece's nose.
I attempted to follow but as I turned around I felt a pair of eyes on my back.
At first, I was hesitant, but then remembered Will was there as well, so I turned around again.
"How did you know about Cece's sensory- thing?" he asked, as soon as I turned back towards him.
Sighing heavily, I told him. "Vergel told me yesterday, when we were walking towards his house."
Will looked at me blankly before turning his head slightly, like a lost puppy.
He was either pretending to not remember or was still lacking his daily dose of caffeine. Either way, I didn't have time to waste, so I ignored his, frankly adorable face, and dragged him by the hand to the others.
Vergel noticed us approaching and jumped onto Cece's bronze smooth skin before offering me a hand up.
I couldn't help but notice how he only helped me up, leaving Will and Leo to get creative.
"Why do you have to step on my back?" Leo whined, as he crouched down onto all fours, whilst Will climbed onto his back before scampering onto Cece's.
Both Will and I reached down to grab Leo's hands and pull him up as well. Once we were all up, I turned back towards the hidden cave, signalling for Vergel to lead us straight ahead.
We didn't move for a good three minutes. I tapped Vergel on the shoulder, raising my eyebrow as I did so. He turned around and simply stared at me before speaking.
"Are you sure?" he questioned.
He may as well have just tattooed 'I'M DOUBTING YOU' on his forehead. He's not very good at keeping a poker face.
He was definitely having second thoughts.
And that's the last thing we needed.
I rested my hand on his shoulders, before reassuring him. "I'm sure. Just trust me, Vergel."
His eyes softened for a bit before he sighed and turned back around.
"Straight ahead Cece," Vergel whispered softly into the hell hound ear.
Whilst we moved towards the cave, I could feel a tugging feeling in my chest. The same one I'd felt, just before I'd met Dominique on the beach.
