"I knew that this was no good idea! I don't need to be an Absol in order to tell that something disastrous is going to happen when this brat is involved!" Lucario huffed, bringing his paw to his head, shaking it in desperation. It wasn't unusual for the mostly blue creature to complain about you, but this time was a little different, and you probably would have even been able to relate to him, if only you were sober.

"Aaron is seriously unfair!~ Doni, you won't believe it!~" You said between hiccups, tilting your head to the right and then back up straight. The blond who you were uncontrollably complaining to had traded seats with Camilla and now sat next to you on your left, laughing hysterically.

Aaron on the other hand was very embarrassed by hearing you talk about him like that, and continuously hid his face in his palms. Camilla was the only one who hadn't touched her drink yet, and despite Doni being loud, he was not drunk. "Really? Tell me more about it."

"He abandoned me and went to Puleuna kingdom on his own.~" You said and seemed to be upset about it. Lucario had gotten up from his seat and came between you and his owner to pick a fight. "And you call that unfair, brat?! My master was sent on a mission! And he was not alone, master Aaron had me by his side!"

"That's even worse!~" You groaned, and were about to sip some more of your remaining beer if it weren't for the dark haired knight taking it away, telling you you shouldn't drink any more. "And besides, did you know that Aaron met up with the queen? What was her-... Glacia! That's her name... does that mean they went out on a date?~" Doni once again erupted in  laughter, hitting his knee multiple times.

"Brat, are you retarded? Queen Glacia is over fifty years old! There is no way my master would even think about laying a hand on such an old woman, much less a queen!" Lucario growled and had the urge to flicker your forehead which didn't work out quite well due to his paws. Aaron scolded his Pokémon, saying he shouldn't insult you even if you were in this state.

"Are you saying Aaron likes older women? What am I going to do now?~" You hummed in what appeared to be a disappointed voice before leaning your forehead against the counter. The blond next to you wouldn't shut up any time soon, but that didn't bother you or anything. After all, he had just listened to your endless rants.

"You are making yourself even more intolerable than you usually are." Lucario sighed deeply, causing you to raise your head and glare at the creature before an idea suddenly came to your clouded mind. "Say Lucario, you always call Aaron 'master' don't you?~"

"Do you think he'll go on dates with me instead of with the queen if I call him that too?~" You asked, placing both of your hands on the Pokémon's shoulders who gave you a suspicious look. "I am glad you're finally realizing that calling him 'master' is more adequate, but my master will not go on dates with you! Certainly not on my watch!"

"You're so cold!~ Aaron, your Lucario is being mean to me!~" You whined childishly before bumping your head against the dark blue haired young man, making him wrap his arms around you since if he wouldn't have, you would have probably fallen off of your chair.

"How about we call it a day for now? You've had enough to drink tonight." The knight said in a silent voice, dangerously close to your ear before he turned to the others. His best friend was laughing along yours, but they had composed themselves and agreed, since you all actually had to work tomorrow.

"You and Y/N live together, right? Would you make sure she gets home safely?" Aaron asked on which he was surprised to receive a declination of the caramel haired female who shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I'm supposed to sleep at the palace for the next few days. The queen and I as well as the other contestants have an agreement, so I can't do that."
