Yesterday's training wasn't exactly what one would call pleasant: While the other two knights were getting along well with their partners, you barely improved because Loraine was a difficult person to handle to begin with, and your Mudsdale seemed to always get startled by the slightest things.

Once the blonde and Liliana switched turns, it was already a different story: The silver haired girl gave off the impression of being more scared of Mudsdale than the equine Pokémon was of her, so it put it more at ease.

And so, it had gotten evening very fast, not giving you any time to train on your sacred weapon handling. You returned to your house after working hours and Camilla stayed over at the castle again, along with the other princess candidates. Queen Rin had told you that you would get your own room at the palace by the end of this week, and you were honestly looking forward to it, since the rest of your friends all usually spend the nights there.

Right now, you were at the Cameran training grounds with your Lucario. You had showed your Pokémon and told her all about the exercise you were currently working on. Even though it was clear that she wasn't capable of summoning any sacred weapons, Lucario stayed by your side and practiced handling her own aura, perfecting her move 'Aura Sphere'.

Doni and Aaron were summoned by the queen, so you were asked to train on your own for the time being. You couldn't help but glance over at what seemed to be other knights training. They sparred one against the other with sacred weapons and were very skilled at it too. The men also made sure not to inflict any injuries, and seeing them work so hard raised your motivation.

You continuously used your hands to perform certain movements and called out 'Sacred summon; Lucario aura' until you were able to stabilize the aura you controlled and held onto the sword without it decomposing.

It took you quite some time, but once you saw the blond and dark blue haired knights slowly walking your way, you deliberately let the sacred weapon disappear and fixed your hair and clothes since they had gotten somewhat messy by then. "We're back!~"

"Sorry to have made you wait." Aaron said, flashing you an apologetic smile. Doni then told you that they discussed a few details concerning the grand mission with the queen. Apparently bigger tasks and more important ones were called 'grand missions' here which was quite logical.

"I think I'm getting the hang of it. Controlling the sacred weapon I mean." You grinned at both males, your Lucario soon wandering off somewhere with Aaron's. You had heard the male Pokémon voice a few complaints, but you didn't pay much attention to it.

"Really? How about you try out using it against us? The guys over there are at it too." The blond knight challenged, nodding at the knights you noticed earlier today. You were honestly curious about the outcome, but insecure at the same time. Aaron's words were the last ones you needed to convince yourself you could somehow manage, and so you decided you would try it. "Alright."

The three of you soon moved to one of the free Pokémon battle fields, you and Doni soon getting in position to fight. Aaron was going to be the arbitrator for what you believed was going to be a short training session. "Ready?" The dark haired male asked before locking eyes with you and then his friend. Both of you nodded and the young man standing in the middle of the field gave a sign with his arm before stepping away.

Doni and you called out what you needed to in order to summon your weapons, the blond's part was a bit and expectedly different than yours though: "Sacred summon; Heracross aura!"
