It has been about a month since Camilla's coronation. It may seem like that's a long amount of time, but given all the many changes that had occurred since the new princess was crowned, you had the impression that time had flown by in an instant. The lifestyles of many have changed, not too drastically, but everyone is slowly but surely getting used to those changes:

Queen Rin has properly stepped down as the queen and all the necessary paperwork had appropriately been taken care of, meaning that Camilla possessed all absolute rights royals have. The same went for her parents, but given the fact that they were in this position was all thanks to her daughter's hard workin the first place, they didn't want to interfere in her ways of improving the kingdom that much.

You continued living here at the castle, just like all other knights who didn't have wives and children, which also meant that the apartment you and Camilla used to live in is now empty. The two of you had spoken about that matter once already, but it was still unsure of what was to become of that accommodation.

Your mother had finally married Devon, and so your family eventually got bigger. Yasen and Myron were officially your stepbrothers at last. Your mother's last name had been changed to 'Kenji' and consequentially yours had too which was and still is rather hard to get used to. Now being a family of five, the place your mother used to live in had gotten too small, so everyone decided it was for the best that they all moved in together in the Kenji household. That left another home vacant.

Aaron and you were still the 'lovey-dovey' couple - quoted like that by Camilla - and he kept doing his job as knight. Doni, Kai and Rouen had been doing the same, and it was definitely no surprise that everyone was training to become more powerful in what concerned aura control, sacred weapon usage and so on. Though if there was something that seemed off and worthy of mention, it was most probably Doni's slight change in attitude. Sure, he was still humorous and perverted, but sometimes when he would think that no one would be looking his way, you would end up catching glimpses of a not so cheerful blond knight. It was just a hunch, but maybe things weren't going so well with him and Camilla?

Moving on to two of your favorite girls: Fotula had - just like planned - become Camilla's royal advisor while Liliana started doing smaller jobs to improve the wellbeing of the poor in the village. Those deeds also included going to help at the local orphanage. She was also the first person Rouen and Kai would seek out when they needed someone to take care of Yuma in case they would be away longterm due to missions. Liliana was also individually working on her shyness and her fear of men, not to mention that she wanted to be more straightforward in what concerned her unique relationship with Fotula.

Perhaps something noteworthy was that she and Fotula were members of the 'Elite Four'. Now what on earth is that, you may ask? It is actually quite easy to understand, given how the name already gives a hint or two. Camilla had been the one who named that group, and given how the 'Round Table Conference' was easily entitled, so was this new 'Elite Four'. The Elite Four is a group of exactly four individuals who hold special and important roles which aren't the ones of knights or royals. Loraine and Myron were also part of that category, and each of them had a specific and critical task:

Fotula, being the royal advisor, would be the first person who would be put in charge of the kingdom in case something were to happen to Camilla and her parents. Given Liliana's great efforts during the Grona incident, she will be put in charge in case of a grave emergency concerning Rota or even a regional disaster. Due to Loraine's current social status, she won't always be in Rota, so she will be the one the kingdom will seek out in case of the necessity of help from outside. Myron has become the leader of the security in the kingdom and consequentially an important role. He has absolute authority over the guards in the castle and the ones scattered around the kingdom, and even influences the police force and army generals.
