"I think it is best if we go search for my master and the others. I do not have such a good feeling about this." The male Lucario couldn't help but sigh worriedly, staring at the sun's position in order to tell what time it was. It had probably been only thirty minutes since the Pokémon separated from their owners and up until now, all they had done was take a walk through the lively yet peaceful village.

"Relax, your Aaron'll be fine!~ Besides, he has Y/N and Doni who are with him!" Momo who was overly happy about getting to spend some quality time with his friends hummed, getting a not so friendly look from the male aura Pokémon: "That is what worries me most! And how dare you refer to my master so casually?"

"Eh, more like, how dare you not include my Camilla on the list of reliable humans." Lopunny threw her own comment in the round, gaining an apologetic expression out of Momo and chuckles from both the female Lucario and regular Heracross. The rabbit Pokémon flipped her ear over her shoulder: "This is slowly getting boring. Let's do something more fun."

"What about a race?" Your Lucario proposed, the idea raising Lopunny's motivation quite a bit. The male Lucario refused at first, saying it was a waste of efforts, but once the female of his same species provoked him a bit, they got everyone on board since no one could refuse partially due to their pride's sake. "It's settled then, whoever reaches that building all the way at the end of the path wins and gets to decide what we do next."

"If that isn't the grand prize." The male Lucario retorted sarcastically, rolling his eyes before they landed on both bug-type Pokémon who stood next to him. "What about them? Those two can fly, is that not considered trickery?" The two females laughed lightly, mocking the male together: "What's this? Is the almighty Lucario scared of losing?"

"Ridiculous." Lucario huffed, crossing his arms above his chest as he avoided both Pokémon's gazes. It was then decided that their moves were also allowed to be used as well as taking any possible shortcuts in case there even were any, given that their finishing line was just straight up ahead. "Alright then! Ready, set... Go!"

And that was how the unnecessarily over dramatic fight over victory began. The five Pokémon raced each other to the fixed finishing line which was actually a building in the distance. Both Heracross used their wings to gain speed while Lopunny had an advantage due to her powerful legs and jumps. The two Lucario on the other hand almost appeared to be racing only each other, given how they shot Aura Spheres at one another while running.

Once everyone was about halfway to the goal, the group certainly gained most of all the attention of the villagers, but they made sure not to cause any harm or panic. Not only that, but the female aura Pokémon started slowing the rest of her competition down as well by attacking them too.

It was a close call, but the winner actually ended up being your Lucario, Lopunny came second and the male Lucario third. The two Heracross got distracted by a group of children on the way, so they finished last and at the same time. "I should convince Camilla to teach me some special moves, not only physical ones." Lopunny laughed, still panting slightly as the group recovered their strength in front of the already mentioned building.

"I request a rematch. Without suspicious tricks." The male Lucario demanded, once again making the group laugh. The female of his same species promised him they would do that, but some time later, since now she was allowed to select their next activity. Just as she stared off into space in order to think of something, her eyes landed on the very building they stood in front of.
