It was already the next morning, meaning that there were two days left before the grand mission. You had nothing specific in mind for today's training, so you figured you could improve your Mudsdale-riding, since Aaron also had the day off.

Checking on the other princess candidates didn't sound too bad either, especially on Camilla. It's been quite a long while since you last spent time with your best friend, but that was only to be expected, considering that both of you were busy with work.

You had just arrived at the entrance gates of the Cameran palace and were greeted by the sight of two guards standing there, chatting. One of those being Myron which reminded you of how pleasant yesterday evening was.

"Good morning, Myron!" You exclaimed rather cheerfully, raising an arm before you started waving at the purple eyed male, approaching him. You didn't know how exactly to greet him or simply act since he was the son of your mother's lover.

You were hesitant at first, but remembered how well you managed to get along with Yasen, so you mustered up your courage and hugged the older. The guard standing next to him eyed the two of you oddly, but thankfully kept silent about the whole matter.

"W-What are you-...?!" The white haired young man got flustered the moment your bodies made contact which led to his cheeks getting scarlet red. The color spread all the way to the tips of his ears.

You couldn't hold back a chuckle after having witnessed his slightly exaggerated reaction and unconsciously squeezed the male even tighter. "Don't be so tense! This is the least you can do to make up for not coming yesterday." You said with lightly puffed cheeks and added the last part before you could be able to actually make him feel guilty, since Yasen and you weren't actually supposed to know that the younger Kenji went to visit his biological parent: "I mean, come on, ditching us for work?"

"O-Oh... I'm sorry." The boy mumbled silently and wrapped his arms around you as well, pulling you somewhat closer. He squeezed his eyelids shut and held the back of your head with one of his hands, not giving you a chance to pull away in order to see his still rosy face. He inhaled the faint smell of soap from your hair while breathing. The fragrance was still present because you had showered just this morning.

The white haired guard knew that he needed to start thinking of you as someone who could become his little sister in the future. Yasen had already accepted that completely and had no problems whatsoever, but Myron somehow felt odd when he tried to imitate his older brother. What he also knew was that he needed to let go of you, since he was on duty and there was actually another person next to the both of you, but the warmth emanating from your body was just so inviting to him-...

"Whoa there, Y/N! Flirting with other guys as soon as Aaron isn't around?" The sudden voice of a rather familiar blond knight snapped you and the purple eyed male out of your thoughts, both of you letting go of each other by reflex. You took another step back as if it weren't enough. "And Myron!~ Isn't that considered cheating?"

"H-Hey, we weren't flirting!" You countered, your cheeks slowly heating up. Doni who was once again being amused by your reactions and expressions had wrapped an arm around you playfully, and was leading you towards the castle. "You're even trying to deny it? You guys were hugging each other so lovingly, I almost got jealous!~"

"Oh please." You rolled your eyes at the taller and evaded his grip as soon as you entered the humongous building. The blue eyed young man continued teasing you about the matter until his misunderstanding got annoying so you decided to explain the situation to him.
